Connect discord with cardano

Find easy ways to connect wallets with social media platforms and build a service on top to provide useful, fast and safe utility.

Just finished School ( Germany ), taught myself Blockchain dev skills and looking forward to grow parallel to the Cardano evolution

This service has been built on discord since Discord opens up high possibilities for interaction. Currently, only Nami wallet is supported. Cardanocon is already a finished product and running! As Cardanocon proves his functionality in practice, the way is open to add more functions on top to evolve and increase its user base and utility.

Goal

Easy one-click applications, to replace currently complicated actions in user friendly user experience on top of already existing social media platforms to save time and effort. 

How it works

Get the Nami wallet extension https://namiwallet.io/

Connect your wallet once with Cardanocon

(Works via message signing which is only possible in Nami at this moment)

Use all the functionalities directly from discord

Currently Cardanocon provides following easy to use features (1 click)

- P2P Transactions (invoice)

- P2P Trading (100% save without escrow services / middle man) 

- Prove ownership of specific assets

- Promote your pool and let people delegate directly

- Auto role synchronization with (policies, assets and stake pool delegators)

- Mint tokens (+ custom metadata) (no fees)

Example (Payments with escrow services)

Before:

- copy paste addresses back and forth

- make sure you always have the correct address in the clipboard

- find the assets in the wallet first

- verify the policy of each asset

- Not every wallet supports multi asset transactions

- Check the TX confirmation manually

Now (with cardanocon):

- Invoice a user with amount / assets (get exactly what you request)

- Easy pay with one click

- All assets will be checked for their policies

- Discord update on TX confirmation

What is the budget for?

Right now the backend runs on two raspberry PI's 4 and sometimes they run out of memory.

Upgrade the server infrastructure to make the service more scalable and stable as it grows. (1100$)

Better website + explanations + illustration designer (400$)

Upcoming development (SC, wallet integration) 3000$

The service just launched recently after the launch of Nami wallet and its growing. At this point, around 8% of all Nami users are connected with this service. The feedback was already great and I'm always looking forward to improvements.
