How do we encourage people to participate in decision making?

Encouraging people to get and use their ADA in ways that benefit not only them, but also the Cardano network and mission involves incentivising them to do so. High quality, educational, inspiring professional videos showcasing Mission Driven Pools (MDPs) and the teams behind their positive activities and impacts can help better inform decision makers.

Videos showcasing stories on MDPs to help educate and inform ADA holders on the 'why, how and who to stake your ADA with' will close the existing gap in understanding throughout the global Cardano community at large, external ecosystems and global audiences.

How do we ensure the group of decision makers is diverse and accessible to newcomers?

ADA holders are globally distributed and engaged to varying degrees in the Cardano community. Newcomers onto the Cardano blockchain will number in the millions, with 1billion+ users in forecast projections (source). This means that there is and will be greater diversity throughout the Cardano community, involved with decision making, and using their voting power in the innovative Cardano Governance structures. Making this accessible to newcomers is imperative.

Videos that are accessible, multilingual and communicate in easy to understand ways are crucial to have 1billion + users deciding to use their ADA in ways that lead to greater decentralization of the network, greater security and greater rewards for all. All in all leading to accelerating positive progress in creating shared prosperity and sustainability with finance unlocked and redirected to projects and areas that need it most.

How will we include the community in decision making?

Step 1.

Decisions taken by the diverse community on how to use the Cardano blockchain and the direction of its development can be facilitated with informative, insightful and inspiring videos that enable SPOs to communicate with a global audience. SPOs can tell their stories and the prospects of receiving attractive returns on ADA staked with them, that in turn helps contribute to financing the work of making the world a better place.

Step 2.

ADA holders, now informed of the benefits and available pools, are engaged in staking with mission driven pools. They join the community of fellow delegators, and the wider Cardano community and help guide and inform each other about mission driven projects and pools sharing videos across platforms, that are in multiple languages, telling the stories and helping decision makers holding ADA or wishing to hold ADA.

Step 3.

SPOs have formed community groups that align on agreed vision and mission statements, and support mission driven projects. These groups help support each other to make decisions that are of benefit for their communities and global community at large, whether it be via voting on Project Catalyst Funded Challenges or Cardano Improvement Proposals (CIPs). Participation in decision making is greatly enhanced with the help of focused videos, that are shown and distributed across multiple platforms.

Video Plan and Budget: $9000 1 - 6 month timeline

If funded, will use funds to:

*(Make a 50 minute documentary that showcases mission driven pools, and SPOS globally - longform) (6 months)

* Make 6 shorter videos (1 per month) of 4 - 8 minutes long showcasing SPOs MDPs, across multiple continents, in multiple languages with subtitles, for global audiences (North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa, Oceania).

* Videos can be used in multiple settings (online promotional campaigns, IOG marketing, Cardano Foundation communication, Educational settings etc)

KPIs:

How many people wanted to learn more about Cardano due to the videos?

How many people learned more with the help of the videos?

How many people were helped by the videos with their decision to delegate with a mission driven stake pool?

How many new users came onto the Cardano blockchain with the help of the videos?

Use social media hashtags on Twitter to track, and number of likes and comments
