Social Media For Blockchains

The solution will be in the form of a web app and be similar to LinkedIn but for crypto/ blockchain specific recruitment and skill sharing.

A graduating student in search of my ideal blockchain related career move after college.

I believe a new tool for the decentralized era is required.  LinkedIn is a crowded place, and graduating students are just getting into the market which has changed radically since LinkedIn was created.

We need a tool that meets us where we are.  I wrote this proposal not to win any funding, but to bring forth the idea, which I'll further refine of a new social tool Gen-Z can embrace and be comfortable with.

I wrote this as part of a challenge by the NFT DAO to get acquainted with how project Catalyst works, how to write a proposal and as a practical experiential learning exercise, and how take incremental steps with my ideas.

Success Defined:

- 3 months Flesh out the idea in more detail about a LinkedIn replacement for Gen-Z

- 6 month Create a new proposal for building the system we design

- 12 month Be in MVP mode with the new social dapp

BUDGET

$1000 to spend 3-weeks researching features and functionality of a new social app to replace linkedIn specifically focused on blockchain knowledge jobs.
