GameChanger used Dandelion Community Service to bootstrap, then its own deploy, and it now needs to scale up to support its growing adoption
We propose to grow LATAM adoption and contributing back to Dandelion network by deploying 3 nodes in this region.
This is the total amount allocated to GameChanger: Dandelion Deployment.
Extended problem statement:
GameChanger is gaining a lot of traction as other projects are building integrations on top of it, and as a light-wallet, its backend infrastructure (Dandelion) needs to grow accordingly.
Describe your solution to the problem:
In order to grow our infrastructure capacity, LATAM adoption, and Dandelion network, we propose to deploy and maintain 3 nodes for at least 3 months in 3 different LATAM datacenters; contributing this way to decentralize further our infrastructure layer (Dandelion network) in these areas.
These Dandelion nodes will be joined to the Dandelion IAN (Incentivized Alpha Network), so in case they have some extra capacity to share, it will be contributed to Dandelion Community Service. This way other projects and people from areas that are not so well connected or don't have the resources -like some in LATAM- can benefit from it, and use it to bootstrap as GameChanger did itself. We are here for m₳ss ₳doption.
Dandelion IAN nodes will also be rewarded with tokens to access Dandelion mainnet, so after these 3 months we'll be able to use them to access other nodes of the network, making our underlying infrastructure more resilient and highly-available.
We'll try to find some candidates from within the LATAM SPOs community to operate these nodes, so they don't all depend on us, and new opportunities are brought to their SPO businesses and circles. In the case we don't find any candidate, the budget will be used to extend the period of time the nodes are kept up.

Current Status / Technical Information:
We have already succesfully deployed and sized our own Dandelion node, so we just need to replicate the model in new locations.
Key features/goals:
Deploy 3 Dandelion nodes in LATAM, ideally, operated by 3 LATAM SPOs.
Roadmap:
- 1st month:
- Research LATAM server providers. As there are some that might not perform well and won't be able to keep up chain-sync speed, we'll probably need to test different providers.
- Look for some candidates to operate the nodes
- 2nd-3rd month:
- Deploy, deploy, deploy (3 nodes).
- Report bugs, contribute to Dandelion OpenSource project.
Key Performance Indicators for the first 3 months (KPIs):
There will be only 2 KPIs:
- Number of nodes deployed (ideally 3)
- Number of LATAM operators (ideally 3)
Budget:
- Servers: 3x $300 x 3 months = $1800
- Ops incentives: 3x $300 x 3 months = $1800
Total: $3600
