LATAM is a complex ecosystem of 33 countries and 660M people. We need to foster collaboration to help onboard LATAM people to CARDANO
A powerful decentralized alliance of organizations, projects, people and governments to drive Cardano adoption and its real impact.
This is the total amount allocated to DALE.

Our Purpose
DALE (Spanish word for LETS GO).
Acronym that stands for Decentralized Alliance for LatinAmerican Empowerment
This proposal is also a CALL for purpose driven people in LATAM to join the MOVEMENT and is part of a 4 pillars CLUSTER impulsed by the LATAM Catalyst Community, that includes:
LATAM TownHall: https://cardano.ideascale.com/a/dtd/LATAM-Town-Hall-by-Catalyst-Swarm/380974-48088
LATAM Catalyst School: https://cardano.ideascale.com/a/dtd/The-Catalyst-School-LATAM/383090-48088
LATAM Cardano Ambassadors: https://cardano.ideascale.com/a/dtd/Cardano-Ambassadors-Latin-America/380977-48088
The idea is to build upon Catalyst, Swarm and Wada experiences, to drive LatinAmerica inclusion and adoption of Cardano and Catalyst.
Main Activities
DALE will provide general governance to the Catalyst LATAM Community, content and relevant topics and agenda for the LATAM TownHall, help to articulate bonds and relationships with the different relevant stakeholders (Government, Companies, NGOs, Key People) in LATAM by engaging with the Cardano Ambassadors, and facilitate the onboarding of new members to the Cardano community by a smooth experience together with the LATAM Catalyst School.
Coordinate with other LATAM Catalyst groups, Daos and People on Governance and co-creation to empower LATAM.
Other key activities are to articulate relationships among Key officials, Influencers and Companies in LATAM to promote Cardano and seek to generate valued cooperation efforts to drive Impact in LATAM.
Track Record
DALE was announced 11/19/2021 and since we had been involved in promoting and coordinating efforts to generate collaboration within existing Catalyst members that are from LATAM or have their harts with LATAM.
We have produced a main Architecture on the four pillars mentioned above, distilling our purpose and our way of work as a Cluster to promote Cardano and Catalyst Adoption in LATAM. We have secured an agreement with SWARM and Eastern TownHall to support LATAM TownHall and DALE.
With that support we were able to create our Latam Catalyst Community Discord Server (https://discord.gg/3MTSdK6D )
We also Launched our Telegram Channel (https://t.me/+IaTgra7usK8zOWQ6)
We have agreed on the Date for the first LATAM TownHall and we have attached the First LATAM Ideafest in collaboration with Catalyst SWARM

Budget
We would like to have at least 2 full time members equivalent, dedicated to this initiative, so our budget will be split in FUNDS.
In Fund7 we need 3 months operating funds
2 Full time members x $5.000 x 3 months + $30.000
Tools, Infrastructure and expenses = $5.000
If the initiative goes well we will be requesting for continuation funds in F8, and possible F9. As part of our commitment to the Catalyst purpose, the idea is to find ways to make this initiative sustainable on its own, so it won't depend on the treasury, but that will be build and decided within the community's first steps.
Auditability
All activities will be recorded in our GitHub Server
