We're building an API to easy query and audit all of catalyst proposal data and metrics that will only be available in English.
Add a step to the current proposal api to translate data using machine learning. Set aside a fund to incentivize human validators.

We're busy implementing our Fund6 Proposal to make catalyst proposal data available via a stable community defined GraphQL API : https://www.lidonation.com/en/proposals/treasury-catalyst-proposal-api
In implementing that api that will be freely available to tool makers, we will be setting continuous integration pipelines to automate and manage data cleanup and enrichment tasks. Here is how translation via the graphql api might be use by toolmakers and educators: https://www.lidonation.com/ja/catalyst-proposals
## This Proposal
This project proposes to add an automated translation step to the pipeline that will use machine learning powered ai combined with human validators to translate catalyst proposal data. The goal is to start with Japanese and Spanish two of the largest non-english cardano non-english speaking cohort. Also Japanese and Spanish because I already have connections in those community that are available to help with QA and sourcing human validators.
## Partnerships
We are working closely with the fine folks, George ( https://cardano.ideascale.com/a/pmd/3056930-48088? ) and Jakob, to coordinate our efforts. PACE tools, the AIM suite of tools as well as lidonation.com are all prime development candidates to design a v1 data set that covers 90% of the community usecase at launch.
## Definition of Success
Lidonation.com, already setup for localization has full proposal data in japanese and spanish.
https://projectcatalyst.org/proposals is using api to provide a rich ui for the community to follow, audit and track catalyst proposals
The community is using the API to create other interesting use cases.
## Roadmap
1 Month: Add pipeline and setup api to translate proposal data.
3 Months: localize catalyst proposal api and make translation available to community. Collect feedback about how translated proposals are being used for research and form partnerships for next language(s) to add to the pipeline.
