Konma Upskill aims to create multilingual content and provide education in a language comfortable for them in an online and offline model.

The team has certified domain experts,Train the Trainers,Social Media Influencers & Content creators who can run the community collectively.

Problem: 

Cardano ecosystem is a thriving community that is working towards the betterment of people around the world. Any idea or cause, however great they may be, unless it is communicated well, the whole purpose is lost in translation. While creating a no-barrier world, we need to break the first thing that sets us apart - the language barrier. India is a multi-lingual country speaking various languages. Tamil is one of the languages widely spoken not just in India but also in various countries like Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Singapore and Mauritius. That sums up to around 70 million Tamil-speaking people globally. The interest in the blockchain space is increasing especially post-pandemic. It is the right time to leverage this interest group and add on to the Cardano community using Konmahood and Konma Xperience Centers.

Goal:

- The goal is to bring together the ~~~~Tamil community using Konma Upskill and the Konma Xperience Centers to create awareness about Cardano Ecosystem and the scope for the future.

- The community will focus on Knowledge sharing, building awareness and running regular weekly meet-ups to keep the community together.

- Create workshops and courses as part of Konma Upskill that is carried out both online (LMS platform) and Offline (At Konma Xperience Centers)

- Create awareness using Social Media Influencers and Content Creators to reach the masses.

- Utilize platforms such as Clubhouse, Youtube Live and Instagram Live to host sessions

- Create a tribe "Cardano Tamil" on Konmahood the Social Media Platform where the community can interact, share their thoughts, know about upcoming events hosted and curated in Tamil by the tribe host on progress and developments in the Cardano Ecosystem. Cardano Tamil Tribe will encourage users to participate in polls to share their views and also communicate with the other community members through Konmahood.

Demographics:

The target audience is Tamil speaking people in India, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Singapore and Mauritius.

- Schools, Colleges and Institutes

- Residential Township

Action Plan:

- Create a Tribe on Konmahood called Cardano Tamil. This will be the social media platform for all members to interact and participate.

- The Tribe will keep the community updated about Cardano Ecosystem and also motivate people to join the Cardano Community events and Project Catalyst.

- Konma Upskill plans to provide interactive multilingual online and offline courses and education materials on-

- Fundamentals & Use-cases of Blockchain

- Introduction to Cardano blockchain, it's Ecosystem & Functionalities

- Staking Pool operations

- Programming Languages - Haskell, Plutus

- Relevant topics can be added to the above list.

- The users can set their own pace and be evaluated on each module. This delivery model will help build a larger community reach.

- We will work with industry experts on all topics proposed and provide interactive multilingual modules.

- Depending on the funds allotted we plan to start with local Indian languages after successfully building the Cardano Tamil community.

- With this proposal, we hope to be an extension of the Catalyst School in the Indian Subcontinent and grow it further to the  Southeast Asian countries.

- Conduct active discussions on Clubhouse and other social media platforms

- Create Podcast modules.

Road Map:

MONTH 1 (Community Growth Phase)

- Setting up Cardano Tamil tribe on Konmahood and creating pages on Instagram and Facebook to guide people towards the tribe and a Youtube channel to share content.

- Conduct Clubhouse rooms bi-weekly titled "Cardano Tamil" under Konmahood club to drive traction towards the tribe

- Social media and Influencer marketing about the Cardano Tamil tribe to create awareness about the tribe and reach the right crowd

- Use existing resources on Catalyst School to translate the content and create a multilingual library for Tamil terms (ease of use) and build module structure.

- The community growth phase will be ongoing and different marketing techniques will be adapted based on response.

MONTH 1 - 3 (Content Development Phase)

- The content will be structured into self-paced modules which will have audio, video, and written content in Tamil.

- Creating podcast content in Tamil

MONTH 4 ONWARDS (Content Deployment Phase)

- Introduction of the teaching modules will be done on the Cardano Tamil Tribe in Konmahood and social media platforms.

- Course outline and details about the course will be run as ad campaign.

- Active marketing in Konma Xperience centers will be carried out

- Approaching schools and colleges about the course offering and adding the course as part of extra credit system.

KPI:

- Monitor the community growth on Konmahood dashboard

- Adopt multiple marketing techniques and monitor conversion rates

- Success would be

- To grow at the rate of 20 members/ day

- 10 members opting for the courses weekly in the initial stage.

Skills Required:

- Translators to work on translating English content to Tamil and to build a dictionary.

- Certified domain experts

- Train the Trainers expert

- LMS developers

- Vfx and Gfx designers

- Voiceover specialists

Budget Breakdown:

- Learning Modules - $ 7k

- Short Education Videos (3-5 minutes) [ to be used on Youtube, Instagram posts, reels, and Facebook posts] - $ 250 / video (weekly 1 video - $ 6k for 6 months)

- Podcast Content - $ 3k (One episode a week , 24 episodes for 6 months)

- Social media content (Posters, videos for posts and stories) - $ 300/ month , $ 1600 / 6 months (3 posts and 5 stories a week for 6 months)

- Targeted paid promotions - $2500

TOTAL : $ 20100

Challenges:

- Technical terms will have to be translated as is but can be done in Tamil.

- Initial adaption could be slow as it is a new concept to many.

IP :

Konma Upskill is the LMS platform by Konma and will remain a product for Konma and by Konma for the Cardano Ecosystem, it utilizes the MIT open source license protocol. Konma is Trademarked.
