Cotalker integration

This report aims to provide an update on the recent collaboration between Cotalker and WHM Fresh for the pilot project of Cotalker <> Milkomeda Integration. The report focuses on the recent purchase and tokenization of Carbon Credits by Cotalker and its implications for WHM Fresh and other clients. Purchase and Tokenization of Carbon Credits: Cotalker Inc. has recently purchased and tokenized 1000 tons of CO2e, commonly known as Carbon Credits. These Carbon Credits were purchased from the “CDM Project 6635, Cuel Wind Farm Project” within the “Wind Power Portfolio Chile, CDM” that is verified by CDM international standards as declared in the purchase contract. Implications for WHM Fresh and Other Clients: The purchase and tokenization of Carbon Credits by Cotalker mean that WHM Fresh and other clients using Cotalker workflows and Milkomeda C1 network will now be able to offset their carbon emissions. The NFT contract was deployed on Milkomeda C1, and soon everyone will be able to check how many TCO2 was compensated. The recent purchase and tokenization of Carbon Credits by Cotalker is a significant step towards carbon offsetting, and its implications for WHM Fresh and other clients are noteworthy. The collaboration between Cotalker and WHM Fresh has the potential to pave the way for sustainable practices and eco-friendly initiatives.

Cotalker has been working with one of their first clients, WHM Fresh, to complete a pilot project for this workflow and the associated carbon offsetting on Milkomeda. WHM Fresh is a Chilean food exporter, exporting fruits grown in Chile to markets worldwide. Currently, WHM Fresh has recorded over 30 journeys, going as far as the United States and Europe, in the Carbon Offsetting Workflow in the Cotalker system. Over the past few months, they also have begun attaching the unique QR codes to the products in their shipments too. This pilot project is being finalized as we speak, and so far, it has been a great success for everyone! It has allowed WHM Fresh to provide transparent and verifiable evidence of their environmental efforts to their customers. It has helped the Milkomeda and Cotalker teams iron out the creases in the processes and workflow, meaning that the workflow is much simpler to use, and that onboarding new users will be even easier when it goes live!

The Cotalker team has been successful with tracebility integration using Milkomeda C1! Please see an image of their "carbon neutral Delivery" QR printed on a client's packaging, as well as what you see when you scan the barcode. We are excited to release a medium blog post in the coming weeks going into further detail about our work with the Cotalker team.

On the export side, things are going well and moving forward to the final product. The attached images are how the boxes will look - carrying a link to the blockchain-backed certificate. Leads are moving forward, but still no closures - there are many participants (internal and external) in the ""sustainable projects"" which looks like our major difficulty in working quickly with large companies - we have to align benefits and incentives with several parties.

"(1) We have an ongoing commercial deal for transporting 200 containers of fruit from Chile to the US, Portugal, England, Netherlands, China, and other countries. This should be an annually recurring service (and revenue). We are working on the last details to fulfill the project. The blockchain is used for two key processes: (A) Tokenizing the CO2eq with ERC-721 in 1 Ton units and trespassing the legal rights to these tokens.  (B) Writing certificate/document hashes. We have leads in Europe and Chilean Supermarkets that are interested in working with us, as also one of the largest local dairy producers wants to be able to label their products: this is going very well. And we are currently working on the technology to be able to scale this to other clients, such as dashboards, tools, and certificates to allow self-service CO2 emissions traceability.

In our recent collaboration with Co-talker, they have made great progress and they started the official integration with Milkomeda. Additionally, they have purchased their CO2 certificates from PwC.

We had a breakthrough, Cotalker solved biggest problem: Validating the business model with a real customer. Cotalker will work with "WHM SPA" that is a Chilean company for fruit exportation, that is fully verticalized. This is a great first case, where we will from the product formation (grapes) in Chile until its sold in Portugal's supermarkets.
