Anime NFT Game - East Asian centric

Design a game that fits the East Asian appetite, pushing it out on mobile and PC platform as they're the most popular platforms.

4 years in Project Management, vast resource connection in IT. As an South-East Asian, and a gaming enthusiast, I know Asian game appetites.

[IMPACT]

The Eastern landscape of the NFT market is still very new comparing to the Western understanding, as well as the NFT game market. Current crypto addons are built around the Western community and by creating a Eastern focused game will attract more users to adopt Cardano and invest into the community as the game eventually aims to collaborate with other game makers and possibly other NFT producers.

The project's website is currently under construction. The founding NFTs are playable characters for the game. Some of it will be limited edition skin variants only obtainable during the founding sale. Albeit the game is Asian focused where other Chinese speaking countries such as Taiwan and Singapore can freely participate, Gliese 16c will also be released in the West. 

With the funding received, the project can proceed to prepare the creation of the first phase of the game prototype (MVP). Battle gameplay, UX layout, music and world setting of Gliese 16c will be revealed.

These are very tangible figures that the community can measure the project successfulness. With the help of the Cardano Community and the vision, I believe they are very achievable.

The gaming market is very crowded out there. But the NFT gaming market is relatively new. Gamers can be harsh on the indie studio which the project will set out to be.

2022 Q4 - Demo - TBD

Community feedback for tweaks and improvement, and will return to Catalyst for Phase 2, where the prologue of the game and the demo would be developed. 2nd round of founding NFTs will be offered to further fund the game development.

2023 - Alpha - TBD

Bring all the components together and make the game come to life in an Alpha version for the community to try out. A trailer will also be made available for promotional purpose.

Success Criteria (12 month)

• Animated trailer ready
• Alpha version of the game ready

The YouTube video is from previous Eastern Townhall where the budget is more geared towards for project getting funded up to prototype stage. We decided that since the Fund cycles are getting shorter, focusing on stages per funding is more viable.
