PRToken is a platform which allows any developers to find open bounties, participate in the repositories that matters to you, contribute to solving some of humanity’s most pressing coordination problems.

Every approved and merged Pull Requests will be minted on the blockchain(Cardano) and rewards you with NFT stickers, showcase your NFT on your profile or embed to Github, get recognised by the industry.

Access to exclusive hackathons, invite-only repositories, or projects, online courses, special rates for different tools and events by holding NFTs.

After our successful proposal from F5 (https://cardano.ideascale.com/c/idea/350780) we developed our first MVP on protken.io

Integrate Nami wallet and Yoroi Dapp connector to what we have now in mvp, the issue bounty feature, for approved PR, repository owner can pay through these wallet from our platform, and it will automatically show information on Github and on the platform with transaction info.

The Proposed Solution is to foster developers to contribute to open-source projects and create more opportunities for open source developers to earn an additional passive income, gain unique valuable skills and experience when contributing to open source projects. PRToken is open to every developer regardless of their background and location.

What has been done:

So we have an MVP, prtoken.io which connects to Github, use can authorized their Repo, create an issue and assign a bounty(using ADA as currency), all these infomations that you entered will be shown on your github.com repo too. You can also assign a participant for that issue.

What to do next:

Which means if this is done, the MVP will be usable with issue bounty feature.

What will be done in after this round:

After this feature we are going to work on minting each approved PR and rewards with NFT, We will work with different companies to allow different deals by allowing NFT owners to access or discounts for their services.

We need 2 developers to work on the wallet integration for 3 months:

3,000 USD/month a developer which we have engaged with a Vietnamese company

We need to do marketing such as getting open-source projects involved. Spreading the project everywhere which required man resources.

We need to get at least 20 companies or open source projects to use our platform to start incentivizing their contributors after we have the wallet integration done.

This project will continue to evolve and add more features, so I do not have a definition of done, however at each feature launch we have a goal to achieve. So for this phase,

We will measure by successfully integrating Nami and Yoroi wallet into our platform (Mainnet), we have the feature which allows repository owners to assign a bounty to an issue, but we do not have an option for them to send the bounty directly through our platform yet, with integration Nami and Yorio wallet when the repository owner click approve of an issue he/she should be able to open up the Nami/Yoroi wallet and make a transaction of the bounty amount that he/assigned and return the hash with explorer link for that transaction on our platform also in Github issue as a comment.

With the transaction feature built, we can measure the metrics by getting 20 companies or open-source projects to use our platform at average at least 1 transaction each at least and we call it success at this phase.
