We will exhibit at BITCONF - Brazilian Conference on Bitcoin, Blockchain and Cryptocurrencies - is the largest crypto event in Brazil.

BITCONF - Brazilian Conference on Bitcoin, Blockchain and Cryptocurrencies - is the largest and most traditional crypto event in Brazil. It has been taking place since 2014 and has already had editions held in Florianópolis, Belo Horizonte, Brasília, Fortaleza, Serra Negra and São Paulo.

The 2022 edition will again be in São Paulo. It will be three days with many lectures, debates, courses, tournaments and other news. This edition is sponsored by Master CoinPayments, the largest cryptocurrency payment gateway in the world!

BITCONF emerged as a genuine event of the Brazilian crypto community. It was designed and created within the Bitcoin Brasil group, a Facebook community that ecists since 2012 and currently has more than 160,000 members.

In IX BITCONF we want reaffirm our commitnent to freedom. And thats why this edition will highlight Free Sftware iniciatives. To signal this very clearly, Jon ""maddog"" Hall, certainly one of the greatest GNU/LINUX evangelists in the world, is with us in the Organization for the issue.

Its good to remember that without Free Software, probably we would not have Bitcon. And both the Free Software movement and the cryptocurrencies seek to free, democratize and empower people.

Its first edition took place on March 8, 2014, in Florianópolis. We were the first event to debate Bitcoin in Brazil. After this first edition, the conference took place every year, in different cities: São Paulo, Belo Horizonte, Brasília, Fortaleza and Serra Negra.

The last edition heal in São Paulo, before pandemic, brought together almost 2,000 participants, 100 lectures held in 3 auditoriums, in addition to courses and training that look place in parallel. For this first post-pandemic edition, we hope to bring together a similar audience.

We proud to say that in the last 7 years we have contributed a lot to the develpment of the Brazilian Bitcoin, Blockchain qnd cryptocurrency community. But we didn't do it alone. Throughthout its 10 editions (8 in person and 2 online) BITCONF had almost a hundred sponsors, who helped a lot in promoting this great event. Many of them grew together with BITCONF and are now large companies in the Brazilian crypto market.

Almost 5,000 people have already participted in the in-person edition and this number gowrs with each new conference. More than 270 took to their stages to give lectures. More than 50,000 watched the content of the 2 editions online.
