My idea is to educate my peers about Cardano and it's opportunities in Catalyst so that our lives will be better when we put our ideas into real life projects through catalyst funding to avoid poverty

In past section I contributed as a Community Advisor in Fund8, and I performed really great and earned some incentives. I am a high school graduate just about to enter the University. I have WASSCE certificate from Ghana and I am very talented in marketing and will add more peers

Proposed Solution

• Educate classmates about blockchain technology
• Educate my peers about cryptocurrency
• Teach them about the opportunities in Cardano blockchain
• Help them to register on ideascale
• Help peers to open wallets

[IMPACT] Please describe how your proposed solution will address the Challenge that you have submitted it in.

The challenge Scouted for Students is aiming at getting students involved in the Cardano ecosystem. This proposal is also about educating more of my peers, about 60 in total, through door to door, online and small group sessions for peers to know what catalyst is all about. So my proposal addresses the challenge well. My life and that of my peers will improve when we are exposed to the opportunities offered by Cardano Blockchain. I was a CA in Fund8 and I can share that opportunity with them so they can also become CAs.

[IMPACT] What are the main risks that could prevent you from delivering the project successfully and please explain how you will mitigate each risk?

The main risk may be high transportation cost to their homes as I want to do it one on one meeting. But I have scheduled that I will limit the one on one and do some on line with them in small group zoom meetings to get them involved.

[FEASIBILITY] Please provide a detailed plan, including timeline and key milestones for delivering your proposal.

Detailed Plan - The duration of the project will be 2 months.

• House to house teaching for one month
• Online meetings of small groups of 6 people at a time
• WhatsApp and Twitter communication with some of my peers and I will be talking to them about the opportunities in Cardano.
• Constant meetings and phone calls to get friends involved.

The total amount I have requested is $1500 with breakdown as follows:

Transportation to houses from August to September 30th 2022 $800

Education materials $200

Internet data (myself and peers) $200

Lunch and branded t shirts $300

Miscellaneous $100

Akwasi Agyemang is a high school graduate, about to enter the University. I am very talented in IT skills and I have great ideas of impacting the society to help the youth. I have WASSCE certificate from Ghana and I hope to enter University soon. I was a CA in Fund8. I am again a PA in Fund9 and a Proposer in Fund 9. I have been a volunteer helper in Wada Ghana programs. I am a Cardano Ambassador.

Yes. I have targeted 60 students and I plan to extend this mission in the next round and I will need support from Catalyst.
