• In the scope of this proposal, we're running with 2 different artist teams with more than 10 people. One author team with 4 members.
• For making the project succeed, we're working hard with 4 teams of game development, comic production, and marketing with 50+ people

PROBLEMS

• NFT games are banned in most of the biggest publishing platforms - for example, Steam
• There is no tool in the Cardano ecosystem for supporting games to reach more users as real gamers that want to play for entertainment.
• Miverse is not aiming at unstable gamers that just want to play-to-earn only and are ready to delete the game if have no profit!
• Miverse has a mission to convince gamers in the mainstream gaming industry to on-chained
• Moreover, for viral and impress real gamers in the mainstream gaming industry, game development is not enough because of their bias. We have to make some moves to reach them indirectly.

HOW MIVERSE SOLVE IT

OVERVIEW CONCEPT

Develop a comic story with a plot that separates from the game story but still supports and relates to in-game, including environments, characters, battleships, items... This comic will affect directly and indirectly people that relate to gamers in the mainstream gaming industry including comic readers, art lovers, comic art lovers...

WHY WE SHOULD CHOOSE THIS WAY?

We're running the hybrid business model between the traditional and blockchain industry. As we mentioned above, you cannot run advertisements effectively if gamers hate you at the first sight. So, comic will take it back. This will:

• Viral the artworks relate to in-game art including characters, ships, assets, items...
• This will make a last long impact but also can make a storm over to the gaming community in a short time. Not pumps then dump right!
• Initiating for media activities, communication, media production in the future with bigger impact including movie production, animation development, developing related communities...
• Inspire content creators, and authors to develop more products, and related activities... besides our main products
• Lastly, it will attract directly gamers in the mainstream gaming industry because most of them love comics!!!

Moreover, we also provide a monetize comic platform to help authors make money on it. Going further to the metaverse phase, this platform will not just be for comics but also other creative content. It can:

• Help content creators monetize their idea, dream, and assets by creating CNFTs for them
• Help content creators easier on setting the payment model for their fans, and audiences.
• Now content creators will be easier to control their tickets, and subscriptions and make a decision for it easily. This will prevent fake tickets, scams, and fraud to their fans
• Fans, readers, and audience... now if they don't want to follow that topic, event, or author anymore. They can just sell their subscription on the marketplace and then transfer it to someone.

• 15 pages per week with 6-8 frames each page
• 1 colored page each week
• All chapters will be published as CNFT and limited sell in Miverse portal then Miverse multiverse later
• Different from in-game art style but still have same detail story
• Hundred to thousand of stories of characters, assets, items... in-game

• This leads them to games and more interested because now they can even express their personality with their favorite characters in-game

The comic is not just concerned gamers, but also art lovers of any age. Hence, this comic will drive a lot of audience to on-chained including:

• Comic readers want to own CNFT of comic chapters
• Content creators join to make content and promote this comic & Miverse
• Gaming developers come on-chained to help develop the gaming ecosystem in Cardano
• Gamers in the mainstream gaming industry join Cardano communities
• Gamers, and short-term investors in crypto games want to find some way to invest and make money sustainable.

Then those will help to increase the number of:

• Mined CNFT
• Traded CNFT on market place
• Transaction on-chained
• Infrastructure, dApp for gaming in the ecosystem
• Infrastructure, dApp for Cardano ecosystem
• New active wallet

CHALLENGE: READER

We're running this project and the production progress is now settled. So, it is not a big deal to be on time now.

But it's not easy to develop and make a comic become famous. Nowadays, there are thousand comic is published every month and the taste of readers varies. This is the hardest challenge we have to face now and after.

HOW WE SOLVE IT

Instead of focusing on one author, we made an author team who love sci-fi and are passionate about comics. Moreover, we will follow closely the reaction of readers to make better story plots that sometimes surprise them, sometimes follow their insight. It will not just be satisfying their experiences but also drive them to viral this comic.

CHALLENGE: Not being Funded

The next challenge for this proposal is not being funded.

We got funded from fund 8 for this proposal for 3 months of production and it's lower than the actual requirements a bit. We can suffer that amount of money.

Different from other proposals, we can optimize or cut off the detail for survival but it's hard for comic production - it's already optimized.

So, if not being funded. We will temporarily stop the comic production for some months and then restart when having a budget.

It will lightly affect the whole project because this proposal is for QIV,2022 - the time that we still don't need to invest more effort in marketing activities. But, if it's getting funded the whole project will run better and faster making some progress on Cardano.

Each week, we will release 15 pages for an episode. Each page has 6~8 frames.

And all the budget is only for comic production & publishing online & communication. Including:

• Publishing & Communication: $2.000 * 3 = $6.000

• B&W Production (Sketching & Inking & Lettering): $150 x 15 x 12 = $27.000
• Colored Production (Sketching & Inking & Lettering): $200 x 15 x 1 = $3.000
• Colored Cover: $100 x 12 = $1.200

Buffers (5%): $2.610

• The budget for developing the platform is in our technical proposal
• The budget is calculated with the average number because the character concept and environment concept has different rate from chapter drawing.

Ms. Trang - Production Director/ Editor

The editor is the person who checks for any spelling/grammar errors, the editor is also responsible for tracking continuity, checking over the pencils, inks, colours, and letters. We will employ a person that will take both these roles, it's normal in comic production.

The Writer team -This team is led by Ms. Trang

The writer is the person responsible for writing the story. They are skilled and responsible for the overall story structure, dialogue, overall beats of the story, and the framework of the story. They are the big picture thinkers. The skeleton of the story. Without their underlying framework, you just have a bunch of scenes that don’t work together as a whole.

Yes, we're asking for funds for 3 months of production only. We can self-survival by selling CNFT of every chapter but it will happen on QIV-2022 and maybe it will not too rush because we will use it for promoting the Miverse.

[AUDITABILITY] What does success for this project look like?

In the long-term we hope that it will have a strong impact like One Piece to youths(yes, it's a dream! Why not!) that will inspire them a lot on the way to find out themselves and getting dream. 

In the scope 3 months of this proposal, readers will mention a new sci-fi story with crazy and funny characters in their communities. And then they will compare this comic to others similarly with the same vibe.
