Create dRep and increase awareness for delegated voting among voters in Africa as well as increasing voter participation and reward.
This is the total amount allocated to dRep Awareness Creation.
Create dRep and increase awareness for delegated voting among voters in Africa as well as increasing voter participation and reward.
This is a team from a Cardano-based community network with a combined experience of over 20 years in the field of Computer Application, Marketing, Research, Finance and project management.
dRep is great for voters to delegate the voters and help for quality decision-making during voting. However, the low level of awareness in Africa is preventing many from participating and delegating their votes.
Individual voters are influenced by several factors and often time is unable to read proposals to make quality decisions regarding proposals. Others are also faced with language barriers that prevent them from participating meaningfully during voting.
dRep is an avenue for voters to delegate their votes. Therefore, this proposal seeks to create awareness among the catalyst community and encourage them to delegate their votes. This would help to vote for quality and good proposals as well as provide a better pool for a reward that is better than that which an individual receives when voting. Also, information regarding dRep needs to be breakdown to the comprehension of individuals to enable increased participation and we are committed to executing such for the good of us all.
The proposal seeks to host online and physical events to create awareness.
The awareness creation would impact individuals to participate in voting through dRep. The potential of dRep is not known and therefore, creating awareness in Africa would help impact many voters to save time while making quality decisions through dRep.
The focus of the awareness creation campaign in Africa also presents a unique niche for individuals to participate in voting by delegating their votes and contributing to a better outcome and win-win situations at all times after voting.
The risk we foresee is poor internet connection in Africa for an online event. The team would mitigate this risk by recording the meeting and subsequently making the video available on YouTube so individuals with poor interest can have access to the recorded and bring themselves up to speed.
The team committed to undertake the following activities within the next 3 months after funding. This would keep the execution of the project within 12 weeks.

No, we may consider funding in the future and that would depend on the outcome when we execute this proposal.
The following indicators (KPIs) would help the team track process and measure success;
The team understand that the progress we make would directly impact the project catalyst. That said, we define our success as the number of people understanding and participating in dRep and contributing to quality decision-making and increased awareness of dReps.
This is an entirely new proposal.
