The Challenge objective is to encourage developers within Asia to learn and develop using Cardano technologies. This solution will train 6 experience developers. The developers will then begin working on the open-source Cardano ERP project.
If funding is received, we do not anticipate encountering any foreseeable risks to getting the developers trained on Cardano technologies. The developers have been vetted; and we have worked with them all on previous projects. The risk of them being poached after receiving training is low.
The timeline and key milestones are:
We anticipate up to 6 weeks to successfully complete the above.

We do not anticipate returning to Catalyst in a later round for further funding for the purpose of training the identified developers.
Feedback received from Catalyst vCAs was to split our budget and re-apply during Catalyst F9. We are following that advice.
We will measure the number of experienced developers from Asia who successfully complete Emurgo Academy courses.
Success for this project would be all 6 developers successfully completing Emurgo Academy training.
This is an entirely new project in Catalyst. Our previous attempt to obtain funding during CF8 was not successful.
We have other CF9 proposals pending, in accordance with feedback received from vCAs during CF8.
