Traditional therapy approaches often struggle being efficient against mental health challenges, yet alternative therapies have been kept in the dark. There is a need to empower psychotherapy professionals to adapt their practices effectively, ensuring that individuals receive safe and effective treatment options. Cortex DAO provides the ideal governance mechanism for this community, with supply chain traceability and practitioner verifiability on-chain, engaging practitioners, patients and scientists who are looking to expand their knowledge and consciousness. This can be evaluated through case studies, qualitative feedback from therapists and clients, and measurable improvements in treatment outcomes.This unique solution is a holistic approach to the expansion of consciousness by leveraging web 3.0 technologies.

[IMPACT] How does your proposed solution address the challenge and what benefits will this bring to the Cardano ecosystem?

Our proposed solution addresses the challenge by uniting key players of the psychotherapy space such as practitioners, patients, experts and suppliers; while bridging conversations and encouraging possible action items on regulatory, best practices sharing, and traceability.  Our solution will provide the opportunity to create and unite new forward thinking communities which will adapt and use Cardano's practical and beneficial technology. 

Together we will further encourage research into alternative medicinal treatments in the ecosystem to create essential solutions to current public health mental problems. This will further prove how Cardano’s integrity based on peer-reviewed research makes it a major tool in the modern world, needed to be able to push initiatives which may be ahead of medical and/or governmental agendas, such as these. Cardano is simply the only option to provide an unparalleled security and sustainability to a serious DAO project such as this which needs to live decentralized in today’s world to live and provide the opportunity to change the culture around sensitive topics.

Enabling Cortex DAO to use Cardano as its technological backbone and providing financial support would demonstrate Cardano's lasting legacy in the contemporary era. This collaboration would not only enhance Cardano's innovative approach but also expand its mechanism for fostering groundbreaking advancements.

The success and impact of the Cortex DAO project on mental health can be measured by evaluating buy-ins and participation levels. These metrics will provide a fair measure of the project's success and engagement of the psychotherapeutic community, following the initial three to six months of marketing. (By assessing buy-ins and active participation, we can gauge the project's effectiveness in driving advancements in mental health support).

Becoming an on-chain trademark for suppliers allowed in jurisdictions to enable psychedelic-assisted therapies is a KPI that ensures project safety and integrity while also opening up global revenue streams if pharma companies catch up.

Cortex DAO will regularly communicate project updates to maintain engagement and transparency. Community members will receive quarterly updates highlighting votes, results, and improvements for both practitioners and patients in psychedelic and non-allopathic therapy. The success of this project will contribute to the expanding acceptance and adoption of alternative mental health practices, leading to a transformative shift in mental health care worldwide.

Cortex DAO is a diverse group of experienced mental health professionals and enthusiasts who explore non-allopathic and psychedelic alternatives. The team combines knowledge in alternative medicine, event organization and web 3.0 to create a strong foundation for the DAO's success. Cortex DAO aims to establish a secure and inclusive space for individuals to explore and advocate for alternative regulations in psychotherapy. By fostering a global invested community, the DAO aspires to drive positive change and promote the adoption of safe and effective alternative therapeutic approaches worldwide. The team has a proven track record of successfully raising and managing financial contributions.

1. Participate in the Growing Demand for Psychedelic Assisted Therapies: Recognizing the shift in society's eagerness for exploring psychedelic therapies, the goal is to capitalize on the increasing interest and demand for these treatments.

1. Provide a Governance Platform for the Psychotherapeutic Community: The aim is to establish Cortex DAO as a platform where the psychotherapeutic community can come together to govern and coordinate efforts in the field of psychedelic-assisted therapies.
2. Capitalize on the Rapidly Expanding Market: With the market for disruptive mental health companies in the psychedelic sector expanding rapidly, the goal is to position Cortex DAO as a key player in this emerging industrythrough verifiable on chain traceability of batch lot and quality of production of the supply.

1. Genesis Event: The DAO will join stakeholders of the psychedelic treatment industry to align on the vision for the DAO. This will involve bringing together scientists, researchers, practitioners, and the health-seeking public to discuss research, best practices, and share ideas to collaborate on initiatives promoting the development of safe and effective therapies.
2. Verifiable Identities will require users to pay to get verified in Fiat, or DMT3 token that would go to the DAO treasury and mint an NFT once verified.
3. Traceable supply batches with our trademark will require a NFT QR code minted after paying in Fiat or DMT3 token.
4. The Front-End would enable an “Airbnb” for psychedelic assisted therapy made in the backend for Web3.0 users and allowing a Web 2.5 experience. 

The DAO will bring together all the stakeholders of the psychedelic treatment industry to connect and to approve the vision of the DAO. This will involve bringing together scientists, researchers, practitioners, and the health-seeking public to discuss the latest research and best practices in the field, as well as to share ideas and collaborate on initiatives to promote the development of safe and effective therapies. This suggests that there has been significant investment in this field in recent years, and that the market is expected to continue to grow in the coming years.

Authenticity Measures:

Another important aspect of the therapist-patient safety is ensuring the authenticity of practitioners. This can be achieved through measures such as:

• Official licensing: All therapists and manufacturers/producers should be licensed by the relevant regulatory body in their state or country, and this information should be readily available to patients through a single information portal.
• On-Chain redential verification: Patients should be able to verify the status of their therapists’ credentials through a regularly updated user friendly database. Therapists should be able to verify the status of a medication supplier’s credentials, and they should have access to consumer feedback on each of the supplier’s products under a numerically organized production system that works with an immutable ledger - Specifically Cardano for high scalability and scientific approach to research areas with impact. .
• Continuing education: All industry therapists should be required to participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices discoveries, as well as attending summits with subject matter experts to further develop their knowledge.

Authority Credentials:

In addition to safety protocols and authenticity measures, the therapist-patient relationship can be strengthened through the establishment of authority credentials. These should include:

• Evidence-based practice: Therapists should be trained in and adhere to evidence-based practices, which have been shown to be effective through rigorous research.

Genesis Event: Revenue Projections for 5000 Attendees:

Assuming an event capacity of 5000 attendees, the following revenue projections can be made based on the following assumptions:

• Ticket pricing: $150 per ticket
• NFT-based access: $500 per NFT

Based on these assumptions, the total revenue for the event would be:

• 5000 attendees x $150 per ticket = $750,000

[RESOURCES & VALUE FOR MONEY] How does the cost of the project represent value for money for the Cardano ecosystem?

The cost of this project is both a testament to a best case scenario for Cardano’s ecosystem usage, as well as an efficient way to share Cardano with a community which will increase usage of Cardano’s tools. Our cost is explained by the launching of the event which creates high visibility to our project, by consequence to Cardano as well. Our festival platform unearth which has a strong following for over the last 10 years will further add to this communication strategy. 

The costs have been preliminary set by our team with knowledge for the launching event as well as additional costs on the development of the tokenomics of the DAO. The cost for this event is representative of a down to earth event, produced at arms length, strictly for the launching of the DAO (rather than the amusement itself). 

We are confident that the amount requested will create multiple benefits to both the cardano ecosystem and the target audience of the project itself. The actual value of developing a genesis event of the magnitude we expect is not cheap, and the development of a platform necessary to connect that community currently related to our project is quite feasible to create with the requested amount.
