To create true DAO, DAO must be able to manage its source code with onchain voting.

Many DAO management systems are not very efficient. Some requires from all members to vote in each voting session, some requires huge transaction fees and some are managed off chain.

Vote Coin standard is open standard managed by Vote Coin DAO. It is set of JSON schemas on how to ask a question, how to cast vote, how to cast encrypted vote, how to delegate account's voting power, how to manage trusted list or how to write the results to the blockchain.

We want to expand the vote coin project from the Algorand blockchain also to Cardano, and we want to create github tools to manage pull requests. With each pull request the voting session will be started. After the session will end, the pull request will allow merging the code if it was approved by a DAO.

We plan to marketize the results of the solution, so that we engage more onchain communities.

We delivered the vote coin standard on algorand blockchain. We believe we can do it on cardano as well.

We request ₳75,000 for salaries, and for server resources to run the project.

[RESOURCES & VALUE FOR MONEY] How does the cost of the project represent value for money for the Cardano ecosystem?

The ability to manage a github repo by onchain voting can bring much higher value to the cardano community than the costs in this request.

For example onchain community may be created that whitelist good coins on github and generic public may be prevented from trading scam coins.

Or if pushed to the limits the cardano git may be managed by cardano holders and the SEC cannot claim that cardano is a security.
