DAO
[IMPACT] Please describe your proposed solution.
Our proposed solution is to establish a Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO) within the Cardano ecosystem, named ReneWorld. This DAO will serve as a platform to bring together individuals who are passionate about sustainability and the potential of blockchain technology to drive positive change.
The DAO will focus on promoting awareness and education about sustainability issues, green energy, and the role of energy-efficient blockchain technologies like Cardano in creating a more sustainable world. We will leverage various digital platforms to disseminate information, engage with the community, and stimulate discussions.
Initially, we will set up a Discord channel, a Twitter and an Instagram account to share content, engage with the community, and attract active contributors with posts such as graphical data. These platforms will serve as the foundation for our community, allowing us to share ideas, discuss sustainability issues, and plan future initiatives.
As our community grows, we plan to expand our activities. This could include hosting virtual meetings and webinars, creating more diverse content (like podcasts, blogs, and videos), and even organizing events or campaigns to promote sustainability.
By fostering a community of like-minded individuals, we aim to amplify the message of sustainability and demonstrate how blockchain technology, particularly the Cardano ecosystem, can contribute to a more sustainable future.
[IMPACT] How does your proposed solution address the challenge and what benefits will this bring to the Cardano ecosystem?
Our proposed solution, ReneWorld, addresses the challenge by creating a dedicated platform within the Cardano ecosystem that promotes sustainability and the role of blockchain in achieving it.
The benefits to the Cardano ecosystem are manifold:
- Promotion of Cardano's Energy Efficiency: By highlighting Cardano's energy-efficient design compared to other blockchains, we can attract more individuals and organizations interested in sustainability to the Cardano ecosystem.
- Education and Awareness: Through our educational content, we can help the wider community understand the importance of sustainability and how blockchain technology can contribute to it. This can lead to more informed decision-making within the ecosystem.
- Community Building: By bringing together people passionate about sustainability and Cardano, we can foster a strong community that can contribute to the growth and development of the ecosystem.
- Innovation: The discussions and collaborations within the DAO could lead to innovative ideas and projects that further enhance Cardano's sustainability credentials and its utility in addressing environmental challenges.
- Positive Branding: By positioning Cardano as a blockchain that cares about sustainability and is actively working towards it, we can enhance its reputation and appeal, attracting more users and developers to the platform.
In summary, the DAO will not only promote sustainability but also contribute to the growth, innovation, and positive branding of the Cardano ecosystem.
[IMPACT] How do you intend to measure the success of your project?
We can measure the success with these metrics:
- Community Growth: We will track the growth of our community on various platforms such as Discord, Twitter and Instagram. This includes the number of active members, contributors, and followers.
- Engagement Metrics: We will monitor engagement levels with our content, including likes, shares, comments, and views. High engagement indicates that our content is resonating with our audience.
- Educational Impact: We will periodically survey our community members to assess their understanding of sustainability issues and the role of blockchain in addressing them. Improvement in these areas would indicate that our educational efforts are effective.
- Innovation: The number of sustainability-focused projects or initiatives that emerge from our DAO can be a measure of our success in fostering innovation.
- Partnerships and Collaborations: Success can also be measured by the number of partnerships or collaborations we establish with other organizations or projects within the Cardano ecosystem.
Remember, the ultimate goal is to promote sustainability within the Cardano ecosystem and beyond. Therefore, any positive impact in this direction can be considered a measure of our success.
[IMPACT] Please describe your plans to share the outputs and results of your project?
Our project is rooted in the principles of openness, transparency, and collaboration. Here are our plans to share the outputs and results of our project:
- Public Documentation: We will use Miro and Obsidian for our documentation and note-taking. All our notes, documents, and work will be made public. This includes our plans, strategies, meeting minutes, and any other relevant documentation.
- Social Media: We will regularly update our community through our Twitter account and Discord channel. This includes sharing updates on our progress, achievements, and any challenges we're facing.
- Content Sharing: All our educational and promotional content will be posted publicly and made freely available. This includes articles, blogs, videos, podcasts, webinars, and any other content we produce.
- Community Engagement: We will actively engage with our community, seeking their feedback and suggestions. This will not only help us improve our work but also make our community feel more involved in our project.
- Periodic Reports: We will publish periodic reports detailing our progress, achievements, and impact. These reports will be made publicly available and shared with our community.
We believe that by making our work and results publicly available, we can foster a more inclusive and engaged community.

[RESOURCES & VALUE FOR MONEY] Please provide a detailed budget breakdown of the proposed work and resources.
Total: 40000 ADA
Platforms and Tools:
- Obsidian and Obsidian Publish: $296 (2 user, 1 year)
- Zoom: $150 (1 user, 1 year)
- Miro: $192 (1 user, 1 year)
Total tooling cost is $638. The rest of the cost is to implement the proposal. This will enable us to increase our efforts to build the DAO and create content.
[RESOURCES & VALUE FOR MONEY] How does the cost of the project represent value for money for the Cardano ecosystem?
The cost of the project represents excellent value for money for the Cardano ecosystem due to the potential impact and benefits it can bring.
- Firstly, the majority of the budget is allocated towards implementing the proposal, which includes building the DAO, creating educational content, and promoting sustainability within the Cardano ecosystem. This will involve a significant amount of time and effort, and the budget will enable us to dedicate a full-time and a part-time resource to these tasks.
- Secondly, the tools we plan to use - Obsidian, Obsidian Publish, Zoom, and Miro - are essential for our work. They will allow us to effectively manage our DAO, engage with our community, create and share content, and collaborate on ideas and projects. The cost of these tools is relatively small compared to the value they will provide.
- Finally, the potential benefits of our project to the Cardano ecosystem are substantial. By promoting sustainability and Cardano's energy efficiency, we can attract more individuals and organizations to the ecosystem. By educating the community, we can foster more informed decision-making. And by fostering innovation, we can contribute to the development of new ideas and projects that enhance Cardano's sustainability credentials.
In summary, while there is a cost involved in our project, the potential benefits and impact it can have on the Cardano ecosystem make it excellent value for money.
