As more and more Blueprints are published on Youblob, it can be used as a learning platform, giving free easy access to schools and their students, enabling new ideas in the local communities on how to create, optimize and make things better that directly aligns to each local production point and the available resources.

Currently there are over 70 million Youtube videos on DIY projects, but no proper way to incentivize the Makers whom explain how something is made. They primarily make their income from Ads on videos. We change this and put the incentive model directly on products, allowing the industry to see all the different use-cases and iterations around their products they manufacture.

Products also include waste and reusing products for new purposes, mapping a new path for understanding waste management. F.ex use cases around an empty plastic bottle.

Youblob is an online makerspace for collaboration and blueprint sharing around ideas and creating an eco-system for idea sharing back to the industry in order to create new opportunities on new levels of interaction and data sharing.

We introduce several new incentive models to DIY projects and their makers, along with how e-commerce can be handled in the future when running alongside Cardano implementations.

Take ownership of your idea in the open source space, allow others to create iterations from them, show the industry who you are and what awesome things you can build with their products!

We are enabling open collaboration across all subjects and new combinations in our Blueprints, combine Electronics with Woodworking and some math f.ex, all while maintaining the high level of documentation around iterations and how something is made, along with creating incentive models on top of this to put the idea maker in the front seat of the whole solution.

- Creating teams for collaboration on Blueprints; Owner of Blueprint can set % revenue to other team members

- Ledger access; User is able to see all sales, purchases, revenue and incentive streams through personal account for ledger UI

- Product Incentives; Once a sale is done through a Blueprint and received with reseller, THEN IF there is added a Revenue % on product, then this shall split the payment and send Revenue % to Blueprint owner, and the rest to reseller. IF Blueprint is created by a Team, then the total Revenue % shall be split between the set Team % allocation.

- Convert Blueprint to Blueprint NFT; If a User converts their Blueprint over to NFT, then this shall lock the Blueprint and no other edits can be done on the Blueprint, and it shall enable a purchase option of the Blueprint.

- Salesprice on Blueprint NFT; User must be able to set their own price on Blueprint NFT, or time period for a set Auction period.

- Blueprint NFT sold; When a Blueprint NFT is sold, it shall transfer all ownership of the Blueprint to the new owner. Sales and other revenue streams generated after it is sold shall be given to the new owner. If Blueprint had a Team of collaborators, and the Blueprint is sold as NFT, the sale price shall be split between the set Team % allocation.

- Revenue stream from the Youblob AI; Based on the algorithm that the AI engine uses and which Blueprints it has based its final solution on that leads to a sale, shall generate a revenue stream back to the Blueprint owners. 

- Transactions on the Youblob platform; As Youblob is free to use, we need to have some sort of income to further enhance the services provided and further development of the platform. To keep it simple we charge a 5% for transactions done on the Youblob platform. This includes sales of products, services, event tickets and NFT sales.

- Organization - Subscriptions; If User creates an organization/makerspace on Youblob, They shall be able to handle subscription fees to their organization through Youblob.

- Referral payments; As a User I can earn Tinker Tokens by using my referral link and inviting other people to Youblob.

[IMPACT] How does your proposed solution address the challenge and what benefits will this bring to the Cardano ecosystem?

By building up a database of knowledge across all subjects and their products use-cases, we allow for a global collaboration tool for Makers to earn from their publications and directly connect with the industry from whom they use their products from.

We promote open idea sharing with incentive models attached to it.

Blueprints can be turned into an NFT. Enabling everyone to create their own NFT's with the click of a button.

We make it easy to start a business based on Users own ideas, without the need for the technological know-how.

Some people we have talked to previously say we disrupt the need for patents/IP through this solution, by enabling incentive models through open collaboration. Where value of ideas are generated from actual product purchases through Blueprints, and ideas can be traded in an open market.

Youblob is built around Creative Commons 0 (CC0), though no attribution is needed we keep this information through Smart Contracts in the backend, allowing for a true open sharing platform and removing manual processes to explain who owns what.

We also bring in new functions/data feeds for the industry and physical Makerspaces that register on our platform to help them better understand value generation in local communities and on a global scale. You can read more about these functions on our Discord FAQ channels, as they are not Cardano specific functions other than onboarding organizations and the industry.

Once we go out of the beta phase on our platform, we will start measuring through traffic, transactions and the different interaction elements.

[CAPABILITY/ FEASIBILITY] What is your capability to deliver your project with high levels of trust and accountability?

Project have been ongoing for 10 years, and I never built it to get rich.

Engineer by heart, and optimizing solutions is my game.

Even though we have not been funded (First application was in Fund 3), we keep on going, but I pay out of my own pocket, and my family have not had a proper vacation for 8 years. So don't ask me how my wife feels about this project hehe.

Still, I have managed the funds for this project, also when I almost had to close it all down but managed to keep it alive by swift action and a bit of juggling and selling of personal assets etc.

[CAPABILITY/ FEASIBILITY] What are the main goals for the project and how will you validate if your approach is feasible?

To enable Rapid prototyping and open collaboration around ideas and providing a new way of income for Blueprint Authors and Blueprint Owners.

With Milestone 1, Youblob expect to start generating a stable income by enabling transaction through our system. Youblob charges a 5% transaction fee (same as e-bay & Amazon) for product sales done through our platform.

Our new use-cases around NFT's are open outputs for everyone to use.

Everyone in the team currently works for free.

We need to include Metalamp into the team again, and we also have 2 students that went through a 5 month Haskell course from India that we wish to onboard.

Else there are minor expenses like accounting, server costs etc.
