Identity plays a crucial role in every facet of our lives. It is a core concept that influences our daily interactions, both in personal and professional domains, involving individuals, organizations, and institutions such as insurance companies, banks, service providers, and others. Traditional forms of identification, such as passports, driver's licenses, and ID cards, serve as tangible documents (credentials) that provide a straightforward way to establish a person's identity, age, place of residence, and other relevant information. Similarly, educational credentials serve to verify academic qualifications or successful program completion.
Promoting the adoption of decentralized identity platforms in various aspects of life relies on the essential element of teaching and encouraging many stakeholders, in which Information Technology students are developers in the near future that we focus on. IT students in universities have become accustomed to using identity in the Centralized model, Federated model, and now is the time for us to lead and guide them in using the Self-sovereign identity mode.
We identify two obstacles that need to be addressed for this significant developer force (students) to engage in learning, leading to faster and more successful business outcomes are:

With over 1000 students studying in the Information Technology program across our universities each year, we believe that at least 10% of the students will participate in the DID course. Additionally, we anticipate that a minimum of 20 to 30 students will engage in their own project and conduct scientific research on Atala Prism in their third year and final year. This is a resource to drive Cardano adoption in general and facilitate the implementation of DID in particular, leading to its early and successful impact.
Our solution stands out by targeting IT students as a prospective developer force for decentralized identity adoption on Cardano. We address the limited awareness and knowledge by translating documentation, integrating SSI into university curricula, and promoting research. Students engage through practical projects and receive recognition in their university profile. This unique approach accelerates the widespread adoption of decentralized identity on Cardano.
The primary beneficiaries of our solution are IT students, who will gain valuable knowledge and practical experience in decentralized identity (DID) on Cardano. By being equipped with skills in this emerging technology, students will have a competitive advantage in the job market and contribute to the growth of the Cardano ecosystem.
Furthermore, Cardano as a blockchain platform will benefit from this initiative. The widespread adoption of decentralized identity brings numerous advantages such as enhanced security, privacy, and interoperability. By encouraging IT students to embrace DID, Cardano can establish itself as a leading platform for secure and decentralized identity solutions. This, in turn, attracts developers, businesses, and organizations to build applications and services on Cardano, fostering its overall growth and success.
In summary, the solution benefits IT students by providing them with relevant skills and opportunities, while Cardano benefits by becoming a prominent platform for decentralized identity solutions, attracting stakeholders and driving its ecosystem's advancement.
By involving IT students, educational institutions, professors, and industry experts, a diverse range of perspectives and expertise are brought together. This collaborative environment allows for the exchange of ideas, experiences, and insights, leading to a comprehensive understanding of decentralized identity.
Through discussions, workshops, and research activities, stakeholders learn from each other and leverage their expertise to develop effective solutions. This collaborative approach accelerates the learning process (Complete the Atala PRISM Pioneer Program) and creates useful solutions (a Proof of Concept, Pilot, or commercial launch)
In conclusion, the establishment of a representative stakeholders working group fosters collaboration, knowledge sharing, and iterative improvement. By involving diverse stakeholders, the group accelerates learning and facilitates the development of effective solutions for the decentralized ecosystem.
To measure the success of the solution outlined above, We are using the following metrics:
1, AtalaPrism Cohort Participation:
The success of encouraging students to participate in the AtalaPrism Cohort program can be measured by the number of students, professors, and industry professionals successfully completing the program. We do estimate at least 100 pioneers will complete the AtalaPrism Cohort program .
2. Documentation Translation:
The success of translating the Atala Prism V2 documentation (AP101, AP102 and AP103) into Vietnamese can be evaluated by assessing the accessibility and comprehension of the translated material. We will publish this document on our github with a net promoter score survey from students.
3. Integration as a mainstream Subject:

4. Governance Framework Workshops:
The number of workshops conducted, the number of participation and engagement from students, professors, and industry experts can indicate the impact and effectiveness of these workshops. We expect to organize 02 workshops with an estimated total of around 40 participants.
5. Reference Cases Development:
These 02 cases can serve as practical examples of Proof of Concept or Pilot which can be used to inspire and guide future projects.
6. Support Hours Utilization:
The success of offering support hours to answer student questions can be evaluated by monitoring the utilization rate of these support hours. The number of hours for this item can be adjusted to ensure project quality. We propose a minimum of 80 hours, which can be allocated over a 20-week period with 4 hours per week
By tracking these metrics and gathering feedback from stakeholders, it becomes possible to evaluate the success of the solution in promoting AtalaPrism, facilitating learning, and driving the adoption of decentralized identity solutions within the universities.
To share the outputs and results of our project, we have the following plans:
1.Project Reports (PoM and PoA):
We will submit a Statement of Milestones (SoM) which will be published, reviewed and approved by Community Reviewers. In each Milestone, we will public Proof of Achievement (PoA) to provide evidence that the milestone for which they have already been paid has been achieved.
2.Public outputs/results on our website
We will outputs/results on our website at cardano2vn.io where interested individuals can access our update proactively. Discuss or query us any topics they prefer.
3.Share output/result to Online platforms (Cardano Forum, Facebook, telegram, twitter, youtube and github): These will be places we share updates, success stories, and best practices. These will allow us to reach a larger audience and gather feedback and suggestions from the community, fostering a collaborative approach to decentralized identity adoption
We will create a comprehensive report summarizing the key findings, achievements, and lessons learned from the project. This report will be shared with stakeholders, including university faculty, industry partners, and the community.

The members of the project are the core team who organized the Community-Led Events Cardano Summit 2022 and Community-Led Events Cardano Summit 2023. We consist of technical experts from Cardano2vn.io and professors from 5 major universities.

During the bear market, the project team regularly organized sharing sessions and networking events with universities, thereby collaborating with them to schedule both fundamental and advanced training. Below are some of the activities:

Based on the experiences gained from these activities, we have observed that establishing a blockchain club and organizing seminars and hackathons will attract developer to the Cardano platform. With over 600 students, and we believe that we ’re best suited to deliver this project at this year.

With previous experience in implementing a funded proposal within universities and a systematic approach, including localizing curriculum, integrating it into mainstream teaching, supporting and encouraging students to engage in in-depth research on SSI, and providing concrete examples, we have full confidence that this approach is practical and feasible.
