My plans to share the output and results of the Catalyst and Health Talks project with the aged people include:
-Send a communique to leaders in the various communities, churches, mosques and social event centers: we will seek their permission to allow us use their platform to invite the aged to the Catalyst and Health Talk by explaining importance and benefit of the event. We will also advertise the event on all social media platforms, using mini bill boards and provide details of how to get access to the event center or online meetings.
- Organize 6 sharing sessions (physical and online): we propose to organize 6 session with 3 online sharing sessions and 3physical sessions within 3 months. Each session will focus on a specific topic related to Catalyst and aging related condition for the aged people.
-The event will be open to general public with no restrictions to dress code or appearance. The online session login details will be placed on all social media handles and given to participants of the physical sessions who missed some part of the Talk and wishes to get second chance.
- Publish 6 videos: After each session, we will create a video summarizing the content and most important stories from the sharing session. The video will be published and shared on social media channels and Catalyst forum.
Our goal is to ensure that the output and results of the Catalyst and Health Talk project for the aged people are widely shared and used in a useful way to create a positive impact for the Cardano ecosystem.

[SOLUTION] Please describe your proposed solution
The current state of the elderly or aged participation in cardano or catalyst project is very minimal. Whilst cardano ecosystem boost of inclusive, the average age participation of the aged is very minute. This project propose to arrange or organize a catalyst and health talk for the aged to increase the number of participation in the cardano ecosystem and also touching on health conditions associated with aging. Although the youth still have difficulties transmitting and participating in some activities of the Catalyst project on the Cardano blockchain platform, opportunities have not been given to elderly to try their hands on.
-Most elderly people are unaware of their current health status and mostly attribute their health status to things of no merit. Involving topics on age-related condition with home remedies to reduce pain will increase their desire to participate in the activities of cardano ecosystem.
-A communique will be sent to the elders of the community, churches, mosques and other recreational centers to seek for their approval to use their space to invite the aged to the event. Information regarding the time, day, and venue will be communicated and online logins will be given to them. Their contacts will be taken for feedbacks and reminder. There will also be an online publications and posters to raise awareness on the need to understand age-related conditions with benefits of project catalyst.
- The importance of the aged community participation in Catalyst: Increased and quality community participation is very important, this will create diversity of opinions, explores new ideas and evaluates new solutions in project proposal on the Cardano network.
- Rationale (reason) for the solution: To enhance the quality of the Catalyst and Health of the aged community and encourage more active participation in the project, it is necessary to apply a reliable solution to provide information and build a strong network of connections. This will create an environment of trust and confidence to promote the sustainable development of the aged community in Accra Ghana.
- Catalyst and Health Talk is proposed to target both participating and non-participating members from the aged community in Accra, as well as developing interested in Cardano, the Catalyst project and improving the quality of life among the aged communit
- Impact of the Catalyst and Health Talk proposal for aged people: The proposal will bring positive impacts to aged people by:
- Creating a specialized communication platform for the aged to share information, opinions and comments about their health and projects on Cardano.
- Encourage participation and suggestions from the aged community, helping them feel interested and responsible in improving their lifestyle and developing the Cardano ecosystem.
- Create favorable conditions for aged developers to participate in the process of proposing, reviewing and voting for projects in Catalyst.
- This proposal is also a factor in expanding the Cardano community, building a quality aged Cardano community that can integrate with the global Cardano community.
- This proposal will touch on the aging medical conditions such as osteoarthritis, stroke, sciatica and hypertension and the ways to restore lost function of the body.

The proposed solution Catalyst and Health Talk for the aged in Accra addresses the challenge by providing a multi-directional communication and communication channel, allowing the aged community to participate in Catalyst project activities on Cardano and improve their life span. This brings the following benefits to the Cardano ecosystem:
- Increase participation: Catalyst and Health Talk will attract and encourage the aged community to participate in the process of proposing, evaluating and voting for projects in Catalys
- Building a community network: Catalyst and Heath Talk will create connections between developers, users and members of the aged communit
- Generate new ideas: The project will serve as a forum for the aged people to discuss, share ideas and receive feedback from the communit

This proposal promises to attract the aged to the cardano community and contribute to the Cardano ecosystem. During the proposed implementation period of 3 months with 6 talks with 6 topics and 6 meetings and republished videos, the average number of direct participants in the sharing session is 50/session, each published video will attract (at least) 200 views/video/after 24 hours of publication and possibly more after 3 months. This will create a significant growth in the number of users and developers from people. Mass participation will contribute to the diversity and development of the Cardano ecosystem.

Andrews R. Darkwah is the founder of Mac-Fibre’s Health & Rehabilitation Centre with a 7years of experience in the treatment of musculoskeletal disorders and aging-related conditions. He’s a certified sport medicine and physiotherapy practitioner. He is a researcher and has more than years’ experience in project consultancy, research analysis and lifestyle modification coaching. He is an expert in online content creation, speaker at event and catalyst community reviewer since fund 9 and has been promoted to LV1. Serve as co-speaker in cardano catalyst advocacy in 2022 and 2023.
-He singly and successfully implemented the Health Talk for the congregation of Apostolic Mighty Fire Ministry (Kotobabi branch), Nima community and Accra Newtown community and was highly appreciated by the aged community in all areas.
Iris Niikwei is a mid-career ecologist with experience in Wildlife conservation and remote sensing data collection, management and analysis, community outreach programs. She has partner with numerous NGO’s to give health talk and also led in community and Ocean cleaning project to impact the health and people living in coastal areas of Accra. She was the Lead researcher in a project “Conservation of the critically endangered Talbotiela gentii in Ghana”
Experience and expertise: Although, this is our first proposal to secure funding, Andrews Darkwah, the Leader of the project have been researching the Cardano ecosystem since 2017; Experienced in participating in Catalyst from fund 9, deep understanding of Catalyst and Cardano. We have been working as a team of experts in the field, ensuring the ability to provide accurate, reliable and high-quality information and content about Cardano. We have conducted many free Catalyst and Health Talks for the people of kotei in Kumasi. In addition, we also participate in translating videos about Project Catalyst - Town Hall, and producing videos guiding the community to participate in Catalyst.
Community building: we have experience in building and managing both physical and online communities. We understand how to create an environment of support, respect, and positive interaction within the aged community.
Review and management process: we have experience in building project management processes and complete ahead of schedule. All content will be carefully reviewed before being approved and published.
Feedback and improvements: we will listen to feedback and suggestions from users and the community to continuously improve Health and Catalyst Talk. W will take measures to fix the problem quickly and optimize the user experience.
Transparency and funding: W have experience in financial management for large corporations, we will provide information about funding sources and manage the amount provided in a transparent and accurate manner.
