I'm proposing to create a dedicated team of representatives from the Cardano community to showcase the innovation and potential of the Cardano blockchain platform at prominent global tech events, especially events and conferences focusing particularly on blockchain and security. This aims to increase Cardano's visibility and engagement with other key tech stakeholders and foster partnerships with the broader technology and security communities.

The success of this project will

1. Increase awareness and adoption of Cardano among developers, businesses, and individuals
2. Educate the global tech community about the unique features and advantages of the Cardano blockchain

I currently manage this type of project at my current work place where we partner and sponsor events, setup, speak and travel. Doing this with other members in the Cardano ecosystem would be amazing.

[PROJECT MILESTONES] What are the key milestones you need to achieve in order to complete your project successfully?

TEAM SELECTION

In this phase, I alongside the community will pick three more people who can adequately represent Cardano at the selected global conferences

TIMELINE: 6 weeks

Deliverables/Acceptance Criteria

1. Selection Criteria Document: I will create a document that outlines the criteria for selecting Cardano representatives at global conferences, specifying the qualifications and expertise required.
2. Nomination Process Guidelines: I will create a guideline whereby the community can nominate individuals, including eligibility criteria and submission guidelines.
3. Nomination Form: This form will collect nominee information and reasons for nomination from community members to represent Cardano.
4. Review Committee Formation: This will be a committee responsible for evaluating nominations and recommending candidates based on selection criteria.
5. Candidate Evaluation and Selection: Assessing nominees against criteria and selecting three or more individuals to represent Cardano at conferences.
6. Notification and Acceptance: Sending out notifications to selected candidates for their participation at conferences.

CONFERENCE and ITNENARY SELECTION

In this phase, The selected members will all select global conferences and decide which we will sponsor, get booths at, speak and showcase at.

TIMELINE: All year

Deliverables/Acceptance Criteria

1. Conference Selection Plan Document: will list the process for selecting global conferences, including criteria for sponsorship, speaking engagements, and booth presence.
2. Itinerary Planning Document: will outline the itinerary for each selected conference, including travel arrangements, speaking schedules, and booth setup

REPRESENTATION

This phase will span all year where the team represents at the selected events, gaining and measuring visibility and impact.

Deliverables/Acceptance Criteria

1. Event Attendance Schedule: where we will outline the dates and locations of selected events where Cardano will be represented.
2. Training and Preparation: is where we will have training sessions to prepare representatives for conference participation, focusing on presentation skills, Cardano updates and updates on funded projects
3. Speaker Preparation Materials: We will get or create materials for speakers to prepare for their presentations, including slides, talking points, etc.
4. Booth Design and Setup: This includes activities needed to set up event exhibition booths, including branding and promotional materials.
5. Post-Conference Reporting: will require that all representatives submit reports summarizing their conference experiences and provide recommendations/feedback for future participation.

YEAR CLOSEOUT

In this phase, closeout reports and videos of all the attended conferences will be shared
