We will provide education programs through workshops, to females and people with disability on financial literacy and resources available to them; because they are often victims of financial barriers.

This project is going to be featured on various social media platforms, where the progress of the individuals involved in the workshop can be tracked, as well as the entire workshop. In other to ensure transparency and dedication to the tasks, we will create monthly reports and share them on social media and with the Cardano community.

These reports will contains records of the participant's financial literacy state before the workshop, their expectation, and the aftermath of the entire workshop. It will contain photos and videos of the workshop in session, as seasoned Cardano blockchain expects will be invited to take them through the sessions.

From the birth of cryptocurrency in 2008 till somewhere in 2018, the field had been male dominated. Until 2017, females have had limited knowledge and have shown little interest.

According to an article by cointelegraph.com, there is a serge in the involvement of females in blockchain currently, with a rise in percentage to 37% in 2017 from 8.5% in 2008. With this increase being a positive news, majority of these females are from the Asian continent, with just a hand-full coming from Africa.

Also, people with disability till now, have had a major challenge in achieving financial stability, which contributes to them falling pray to various forms of maltreatment and social setback, leading to self pity, streetism and economic dependency.

In Ghana for instance, many people are of the notion that, until you have achieved higher education and exposure, your chances of attaining financial stability is very low. Even though Ghana has come a long way to ensure that many of its citizens have access to secondary education, the approach is still lacking the ability to provide financial stability to its citizens. Females, who in most home, have a lower probability of furthering their education to the tertiary level, usually find it very hard to sustain themself financially, unless through marriage, which is usually not something they are ready for as at the time. People with disability also are usually neglected by friends and family, without any form of help. They end up on the streets, begging to be able to make ends meat.

This project largely involves females and people with disability who have little access to financial support. We seek to mobilize these individuals through a series of workshop to educate them on financial literacy, and to introduce them to the Cardano Ecosystem.

We aim to get these people through community engagement and house visitation, then mobilize them for the workshop.

This project is aimed at providing financial literacy to minority groups, specifically, females and disabled people. At the end of this project, females and disabled people who participate in the workshops will have the opportunity to be exposed to blockchain and the Cardano Ecosystem, increasing the number of individuals and influence of the Cardano ecosystem.

Breakdown of Impact:

1. Empowerment: By the end of this project, participants will be empowered to stand up for themselves in the society. By introducing them to blockchain and the Cardano Ecosystem, they will be introduced to creating financial freedom for themself, and this will help boost their involvement and contribution to the Cardano ecosystem.
2. Access to financial literacy: Most people with disability and women have face a lot of barrier to accessing the traditional educational and training institutions. This workshop will provide them the opportunity acquire knowledge that will help propagate their standard of living. Traditional educational institutions may not directly provide courses on financial literacy and blockchain technology leading to financial freedom, nevertheless through interaction with people from different backgrounds and social status, one gets exposed to them.
3. Cardano community development and Inclusion: We could foster community development through the project, as well as fostering social inclusion.

The team involved in this project are passion driven when it comes to the matters undertaken by this project. The team's transparency, dedication, passion, among others sets the team up for successful execution of the project. Below is the breakdown:

1. Team Experience: All the individuals involved in the team have a track record of community engagement through outreaches and volunteering services, as well as how to analyze the impact and performance of the project
2. Result Oriented: All members in this team are result - oriented. We set small milestones and make sure that we deliver. Through weekly evaluations, we will access the performance of the team and it's impact on the participants.

Goal 1: Through this workshop and aftermath follow-ups, the participants will be introduced to life changing opportunities that will result in financial stability, especially in the Cardano ecosystem.

Goal 2: We will introduce the participants to the Cardano ecosystem, how to use it and ensure that they are enrolled on it. We will undergo regular follow-ups to ensure that no one is left behind. We will guide them to submit proposals and get involved in the activities of the ecosystem.

Goal 3: It is very crucial to create awareness on people in minority group such as females and people with disability, and to ensure that they are in a good position to stand up for themselves.

• Find a way to convey the participants and make sure all their needs related to attending the workshop is catered for - 2 weeks

[VALUE FOR MONEY] How does the cost of the project represent value for money for the Cardano ecosystem?

This workshop will lead to financial literacy and blockchain knowledge to females and people with disability particularly on the Cardano blockchain. We will be leveraging knowledge on Cardano ecosystem to ensure financial literature and better opportunities for people of minority.

Onboarding of participants into the Cardano ideascale will unveil Project Catalyst to them, thereby increasing the number of community reviewers, proposers and eligible voters for future funds.

Incentives given on the Yoroi wallet will increase the total holders of the ADA currency. In general, while we aim to ensure financial literacy for participants, we will as well be increasing the number of individuals in the Cardano Ecosystem.
