Currently, the two mainstream blockchains, ethereum and bitcoin have books dedicated to learning the technicals of their blockchain , namely - mastering bitcoin and mastering ethereum. Cardano currently lacks any such one stop initiative which would let a developer read a book and be confident about knowing most parts of the cardano ecosystem and technicals , if not all. A new developer who wants to develop on cardano currently has to do the difficult job of devising a learning roadmap first, then collecting all the information and then starting to learn the fundamentals of the blockchains. Even then , a lot of these resources would have overlaps and make the learning journey too painful. Therefore, there is a dire need of a one stop textbook covering these concepts.

Currently, courses exist on online websites on udemy but they are inadequate . Other options are courses offered by Emurgo but are extremely expensive for someone just trying to get started with cardano development. (>=$1500). Therefore, a mastering cardano book would be extremely useful for both existing and new developers.

• one stop for learning everything cardano , reducing the pain of collecting and organizing information from different resources.

I have been involved with the cardano ecosystem since 2 years now and also have a degree in computer science. I have made tutorial videos on cardano development on my Youtube channel https://www.youtube.com/@blocktech26/videos and have also served as a Cardano Ambassador as a content creator. In these years, I have been active with development communities on cardano on discord , twitter, telegram and cardano forum .I have also completed the cardano architect course offered by Emurgo. Therefore, I have a high degree of familiarity with the ecosystem and the knowledge required to complete this project.

[PROJECT MILESTONES] What are the key milestones you need to achieve in order to complete your project successfully?

This task would be researching the existing resources in the cardano ecosystem , github repos, mastering bitcoin and mastering ethereum books , and existing reviews of these books. The end goal of this milestone would be to come up with a table of contents of the mastering cardano textbook.

This milestone would commence with the first few chapters of the mastering cardano textbooks which would be decided in the previous milestone. A draft of this outcome would be released to the cardano community for critique and feedback .

This milestone would publish the final outcome of the revised draft to the cardano community and also setup a governance mechanism for making any changes to it in the future. The feedback and changes suggested in the previous step would be implemented here. This will be done through a telegram group and github repository.

This textbook would reduce a lot of engineering hours for development teams on cardano as this would be a one stop resource for referring to all aspects of cardano development.

This would also help in onboarding new developers to the blockchain as the learning time would be reduced and increase their productivity
