Lack of regional integration and community engagement within the Cardano ecosystem.
This is the total amount allocated to RX-DAO: Regional Collaboration and Community Building for Cardano.
We will organize events to promote regional collaboration using Cardano. Our focus is on practical use cases like regional tokens and wallets, highlighting how they support sustainable development.
Description: Collaboration with local governments and educational institutions is essential for executing workshops and community events. We have existing partnerships in place, but additional support will be needed from local organizations for event venues and promotion.
Explanation: While the event framework and methodologies will be documented and shared with the community, certain partnerships and specific strategies will remain proprietary to protect stakeholder interests.
RX-DAO aims to address the lack of regional integration and community engagement within the Cardano ecosystem by promoting the following through events and workshops:
1.This includes real-world applications like issuing regional tokens and integrating Cardano wallets, helping communities tackle their unique challenge
3. DAO Participation and NFT Purchase Pathways: Each event will include pathways for participants to join DAOs and purchase NFTs. Workshops will explain the DAO process and guide attendees on how to participate. We will also integrate an NFT purchasing flow, where participants can buy NFTs tied to DAO memberships and community engagement. This will help increase active involvement in the Cardano ecosystem.
4. Web3 Solutions for Local Governments: Through partnerships with projects like Zen-Gate, Emurgo, and Socious, we will showcase how Cardano’s Web3 technology can enhance local governance and community collaboration. This will include solutions like decentralized finance (DeFi) tools, smart contracts for public services, and NFTs for tourism.
5. Expanding Community and Municipal Engagement: By inviting 50 municipalities across Japan, the event will offer a platform for local governments to discuss how Web3 technology can be used for digital transformation and regional revitalization. This will also tie into the demand for digital solutions related to the Expo 2025 in Osaka.
These elements will form the core of our events, providing both educational value and practical demonstrations to expand Cardano’s adoption across regional areas.
The inclusion of pathways for DAO participation and NFT purchases during the events will significantly increase user engagement within the Cardano ecosystem. By offering accessible entry points to join DAOs and acquire NFTs, participants will be empowered to become active members of the Cardano community, fostering long-term involvement and technology adoption.
Impact will be measured through:
• Number of attendees and participants in events and workshops
• New Cardano wallet registrations and active usage
• Community engagement metrics (e.g., surveys and social media activity)
Results and findings will be shared via online reports and webinars.
RX-DAO collaborated with local governments, companies, and educational institutions to address regional challenges and promote digital transformation (DX), earning first place in the JAPAN DX Player Award. This recognition highlights the success of their RegionLink project in revitalizing communities and solving local problems.
As part of the Cardano SPT initiative, RX-DAO organized large-scale events with over 1,000 participants, accelerating the adoption of Cardano technology in regional areas. Projects like Zen-Gate, Emurgo, Socious, Intersect, and Yoshinogawa Web3 Center participated, creating valuable networking opportunities and strengthening ties between communities and Web3 technology. Through these efforts, RX-DAO continues to drive sustainable digital transformation and widespread adoption of Cardano in regional areas.

The costs for this project provide exceptional value for the Cardano ecosystem. With a large-scale event planned to host 3,000 participants and invite 50 municipalities across Japan, the project will significantly contribute to the adoption and expansion of Cardano technology and its use cases. The budget allocation is carefully structured to ensure all essential elements, such as venue rental, marketing, fieldwork, and technical support, are adequately covered.
First, the venue rental and fieldwork logistics costs align with average event management costs in Japan, making them well within reasonable expectations. Hosting a large event for 3,000 participants requires securing a space that includes essential facilities, technical support, and equipment. The costs involved are based on market standards in Japan, ensuring they are proportionate to local pricing. The logistics for fieldwork include travel, accommodation, and on-site survey efforts, all of which are crucial for gathering real-world data and feedback from various regions.
Additionally, marketing and promotion costs are appropriately allocated to cover both online and offline campaigns. The use of SNS and Google Ads for digital marketing ensures that key audiences are targeted efficiently to promote Cardano’s regional initiatives. The costs are optimized to achieve a broad reach, and offline promotion through pamphlets and banners ensures direct engagement with local municipalities and communities, increasing event participation.
The project management costs reflect the necessary leadership and coordination efforts to ensure the smooth execution of the event and fieldwork. These costs include essential project oversight to minimize inefficiencies and ensure that resources are used effectively. This approach ensures the project runs smoothly and within the planned budget.
Lastly, the costs associated with this project are based on industry-standard wage levels and freelance rates in Japan, demonstrating that the expenses are not inflated. Each budget element is justified, ensuring that funds are allocated appropriately to maximize impact.
Overall, this project represents a highly valuable investment in the Cardano ecosystem, strengthening regional collaboration and promoting the long-term adoption of Cardano technology.
