High School students in Ghana have less or no knowledge about web3 and blockchain due to lack of adequate education. With this, Cardano isn’t well known amongst the youth in Ghanaian high schools.
This is the total amount allocated to Teaching Web3 and blockchain to Ghanaian high school students, giving them useful foundational knowledge, and introducing Cardano to encourage future blockchain users and developers..

We plan to host Web3 and blockchain education workshops for Ghanaian high school students to teach the fundamentals of blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, and the Cardano ecosystem as a whole.
No Dependencies
Every activity will be openly available with videos and pictures of all proceedings updated on our website.
Our proposal is to arrange a sequence of Web3 instruction sessions for Ghanaian high school pupils. Web3 technologies, cryptocurrencies, decentralised apps (dApps), and blockchain fundamentals will all be covered in these courses. Additionally, we will explain Cardano to the students, outlining its goals and how it is advancing decentralised solutions across the globe. By the end of the course, students will have gained a practical understanding of blockchain technology and dApp development in addition to a solid understanding of Web3 principles, which will motivate them to become early Cardano supporters and adopters.
The long-term acceptance and development of Cardano can be greatly aided by introducing it to young, technologically inclined Ghanaians in high school. We contribute to the development of an early adopter and future innovator community by teaching the next generation of students about blockchain technologies, particularly Cardano, and how they may use the network's technology to address practical problems.
•High school pupils are being exposed to Web3 and blockchain technologies, which is promoting an early awareness of cutting edge technology. By providing students with abilities that are not usually taught in the existing curriculum, this could have a revolutionary effect on Ghanaian education in the future.
•The primary goals of Cardano are financial inclusion, education, and the provision of instruments for empowerment, especially in underdeveloped nations. We are sowing the seeds for a new generation of developers, entrepreneurs, and users who will embrace Cardano by educating young students about Web3. We can raise brand awareness and promote blockchain adoption among high-potential consumers by particularly introducing Cardano into the curriculum.
•Young blockchain enthusiasts in Ghana will form a robust and encouraging community as a result of this project. By creating decentralised apps (dApps) or encouraging the usage of Cardano in their local communities, these students can subsequently contribute to the Cardano ecosystem. As students continue to learn and use the technology in practical situations, early exposure can result in long-term devotion to Cardano.
With the goal of expanding the Cardano ecosystem's usefulness and growth, Project Catalyst aims to assist creative initiatives. Along the way, this project raises awareness, educates the public, and identifies possible long-term network developers.
CAPABILITY
•With a strong background in Web3, blockchain, and educational efforts, the project lead guarantees that the program is being conducted by experienced professionals.
The training and mentoring will be provided by a group of skilled Web3 instructors, Cardano community mentors, and tech facilitators, guaranteeing high-quality education and direction. The program's reputation and reach can be increased by the team through relationships with Cardano community members, Ghanaian schools, and educational stakeholders.
FEASIBILITY
•The initiative begins with a controlled trial phase in a few chosen schools, and its scale can be increased in response to feedback and success. A combination of in-person and virtual sessions provides for flexible learning environments, and the use of inexpensive technology such as laptops and mobile devices guarantees that the training is applicable. Ensuring that even complicated blockchain ideas are taught in an entertaining and accessible way for secondary pupils is made possible by a well-crafted, age-appropriate curriculum. All project expenses, including curriculum development, facilitator fees, logistics, and incentives, are covered under a reasonable budget of 52,000 ADA, guaranteeing the program's seamless operation.
This project is capable of being completed because of its well-rounded staff, reliable collaborations, scalable design, and strategically allocated resources.
Use assignments, tests, and quizzes to gauge how well students are progressing. For the purpose of improving the curriculum and program structure, get input from trainers, instructors, and students. Obtain input from every participant, then compile it into a report that evaluates the program.
Refine and extend the program to more high schools in light of the comments. Establish a mentorship program to assist students who express interest in carrying on with their Web3 adventure.
Milestone: Complete at least 30 to 50 more student training sessions, as well as start mentoring and follow-up tasks.
Execute the experimental program at a few chosen schools. This entails holding sessions both virtually and in person, utilising gamified content and interactive learning modules. train 20 or more pupils in three or more different schools with success. Calculate the proportion of students who use Web3 regularly, make Cardano wallets, or pursue higher education. Keep track of the program's accomplishments by emphasising important indicators including the quantity of students trained, the skills they obtained, and Cardano uptake.
Milestone: Send Project Catalyst final project report, along with suggestions for enhancements in the future.

With a common goal of empowering the next generation of innovators and leaders in Ghana and throughout Africa via education and decentralised technology, Jonas and Stephanie combine to form a dynamic team. Their combined experience in community development, education, and blockchain guarantees that this initiative is not only doable but also has the potential to have a significant and long-lasting impact on the Cardano ecosystem.
TOTAL ESTIMATED BUDGET: 52,000 ADA
The future generation of Cardano users, developers, and innovators is fostered by this project, which exposes high school kids to blockchain and Cardano at an early age. Later on, these students might use Cardano to create decentralised apps (dApps) and solve practical problems.
In addition to educating and involving hundreds of kids, the project grows the Cardano community in Ghana, a crucial area for blockchain innovation and acceptance. By raising knowledge and understanding of Cardano, the project lays the groundwork for future expansion in a developing market.
From curriculum development to educating hundreds of students, the project's milestones yield quantifiable outcomes. With direct skills that could lead to future Cardano-based initiatives, ideas, or job prospects, the cost per student trained and coached is extremely efficient.
This project directly supports Cardano's mission on sustainability, education, and financial inclusivity. The ecosystem is establishing the foundation for the broad adoption of blockchain and decentralised technologies by making investments in education, particularly in under-represented areas. By focussing on both short-term educational results and long-term advantages for the Cardano ecosystem, together with the scalable potential for wider adoptions, we can conclude that the project delivers excellent value for the money.
