Audit via DAO

"Audit via DAO" is an attempt to increase community engagement into Catalyst and to make audit like Decentralized Autonomous Organization. 

There are many winners of Project Catalyst and there will be more. Some of these projects will really to develop Cardano ecosystem, but with such amount of projects it's easy to be lost. There are of course reports and Catalyst team work actively, and as we have this category to "Improve and Grow Auditability" I'm suggesting to do it with the help of community.

Yes, there are professional auditors, community audits will differ in a way that we don't give strict rules to all the auditors. DAO auditors can select a project where he or she can have bigger competence, and do audit by reading a proposal, tracking results and speaking with companies and individuals who work on this particular proposal.  

For example with a budget of $8000 and the fixed price ($40 per audit) we will have 200 community audits. 

Of course, somebody can say it's a small amount, but we here in Project Catalyst do a lot of work for free) So I think $40 in ADA is a normal reward per audit (but of course looking forward to hear your thoughts) 

Who will do these audits? You! 

It can be 20 people who do 10 audits each, or it can be 40 people who will do 5 audits each.

All this is up to the community to decide

We'll create a new site for these audits, and will also publish this information on crypto-blogs, therefore also increasing general awareness about Cardano ecosystem and which projects emerge.

$888 of budget will be organizational cost (for project manager's work, web-site hosting, domain, transaction fees, etc.). In the beginning I will hold managerial role, but in the future I hope there will be enough instruments to do it by DAO

I'm sure that this can bring more people's awareness to the project Catalyst, more transparency, and more ADA usage. Hopefully, if supported - this proposal will give the opportunity to earn ADA to all the active memebers. 

This might look like experiment, but the Project Catalyst is an experiment too)
