About this idea
We need to think bigger, beyond our small but growing ecosystem, in relation to the majority of people in the world who are currently unaware of Cardano and Project Catalyst. Myself, my co-proposer and our entertainment industry partners have been working behind the scenes to structure a viable plan with the end goal of creating a large scale film project.
Our goal is to reach a global audience by tapping into pop culture's action/adventure film entertainment market. Action/adventure films are one of the leading genre films and bodes well as the backdrop for our hero product of CARDANO.
HOW WE WILL ACCOMPLISH THIS
We will tap into the several relationships we have built in the filmmaking industry ranging from studio relationships, global distribution channels, top tier talent including writers, actors and directors to put together a feasible total film package. Some of studio connections include but not limited to Tyler Perry Studios (Atlanta GA), Nu Boyana Studios (Sofia, Bulgaria). Distributors such as Lionsgate's Grindstone Entertainment Group. And Production companies that specialize in foreign sales such as Crystal Sky Pictures, AAA Entertainment (Johannesburg, South Africa).
GOALS: Short/Mid Term
Attracting Proposers - While this proposal falls within the realm of entertainment/filmmaking which carries a longer than average time horizon, the short/mid term goal will be to facilitate maximum community involvement within the Cardano community. This includes yet-to-be proposers who may have not yet submitted a proposal who wish to have product placement. The goal is to expose the creative spirit that this community possesses in addition to telling an interesting and compelling story.
With that, looking forward to Fund7 and beyond, we would collaborate on specifics and initiate separate "sub-proposals" for those interested parties looking for product placement and allow the Cardano community vote on the ones they would like to include in the film. This direct interaction would give anyone looking to gain exposure the opportunity to do so, with the community voting as they do currently on standard proposals.
*Interest and engagement within these film-specific "sub-proposals" would be one easily measurable KPI
Long Term
While a project of this scope has never been done before, it has never stopped anyone in IOG, Cardano community members, pioneers and everyday dreamers who find themselves drawn to this project and all it offers the world, from making history. Our long term goal beyond seeing this grow from idea to final product with worldwide distribution and high production value would be to facilitate the onboarding and education of any mainstream entertainment professionals looking to create and interact with Cardano and it's vibrant community.
