Summary

MuseVerse project is the result of the combination of Virtual Reality (VR) and blockchain, using Music as a universal vector, and integrating with SingularityNET and its AI solutions. The goal is to offer a new and innovative way for musicians to compose Music in the Metaverse, by cutting the middle-men, facilitating artistic collaboration and sample pack search through a large, high-quality catalogue, and establishing an NFTs marketplace for instruments using smart contracts.

SingularityNET

SingularityNET has an incredible potential at being the leading decentralized ecosystem for AI algorithms forwarding to Artificial General Intelligence. Achieving this goal will need to find a way how to naturally grow in the number of applications and users. SingularityNET is not getting enough momentum and attention in the current state to rapidly grow to a $5T market. We believe that there is one segment that has the potential to trigger this momentum and it needs to be explored right now. The space is Metaverse. Metaverse is going to be everywhere. It is already here, in the same position as the internet was in the 90s. We believe that after what we have seen as the NFT boom, metaverse and 3D objects are going to be next. We believe that SingularityNET needs to be involved in this technological wave and we need to make sure to open the door soon enough to maximise the adoption of the metaverse space.

Music

The music industry is facing difficult years. Many musicians cancel tours and many clubs are closing due to lack of attendance, a consequence of Covid restrictions. We believe that a barrier-breaking solution could be the Metaverse, with a combination of blockchain and VR technologies. We strongly believe that the most friendly use for metaverse is music. Music is an international language, a sort of universal vector shared by all people. As of now, there is no existing Music platform combining AI and the Metaverse worlds powered by both the SingularityNET and Cardano blockchains.

Musical Instruments

First interactive NFT musical instruments in the metaverse. Our goal is to make musical instruments accessible in the metaverse. The first series of instruments should focus on these 3 musical instruments.

Xylophone 

We are carefully considering entry instruments in a matter of accessibility. The easiest way of interacting in VR is the hand controller. Xylophone as a melodic instrument played with mallets provides a great entry point for easy interaction in VR. No technical difficulties for plugging it and with great smooth controllability. We would provide soundbanks as NFTs.

Drums

Drums as a rhythmical instrument are a necessary part of any music. The ability to play with sticks provides the same easy interaction in VR.

Piano

Piano as one of the most played instruments provides a complex way as an entering point to all kinds of music. Our goal is to figure out an AI algorithm that would provide finger analysis and project movement of played notes to VR without complicated plugging of instruments.

Metaverse

We were very carefully choosing the right metaverse that could provide the right technological support and it would provide VR interaction and decentralized integration of ownership and AI integration. We found only one best metaverse for such a challenge.

Live Music

Metaverse needs entertainment. We believe that music is one of the most entertaining things that can be done in the metaverse. Achieving great VR experiences will need to bring motivation to the artists in the matter of rewarding them. 

Rewarding system

The traditional model of the rewarding artist is concert tickets which is not the most effective way of getting the rewards. We believe that taking advantage of smart contracts could be possible to design a completely new way of rewarding system

Token

Having a fully functional rewarding system is the key. We believe that the best way to designing such a mechanism is by creating a token. This token would be built on top of Plutus smart contracts. The token would have 1 special function which would be a 1% fee from every transaction made with the token on an exchange or as a transfer. This transaction fee would be distributed to 3 reward pools for artists, clubs and developers.

We believe that such a fee would not be problematic for natural token flow. 1% should not be too high as a psychological block for exchange, on the other hand, this fee could provide a natural way of rewarding artists with the increasing adaption of the token.

Rewarding system

We believe that taking advantage of smart contracts could be possible to design a completely new rewarding system. We would like to create publicly transparent rewarding pools that everyone could have access to know what is the current value of the rewarding pools.

Artist reward pool

This pool would be the most important reward pool. Artists are the soul of music. Creating, learning and practising music takes a lot of effort and skills. We believe that it is important to support musicians to provide creative freedom. Freedom comes with financial independence. We believe that everyone who is performing should be rewarded. This could provide musicians with the opportunity to make living out of being musicians.

Booking reward pool

Metaverse provides an opportunity to buy own parcels and also to build. There are already existing music clubs, bars and concert halls. We believe that it is important to reward the owners. The entering cost of ownership of such a space, promoting events, organizing club nights is also something that should be rewarded as it will create motivation to innovate and push the VR experience to another level.

Developer reward pool

Development is the heart of the project. We believe that the most effective way of having rapid progress is to create a public list of development tasks with reward prices. This could accelerate the development progress. In a later stage the with fully functional Voltaire we would like to give this preference give it to the community.

AI recognition system

An important part of reward pools is how is going to be working the mechanics. We believe that artists should be rewarded in matter how many people they have on the dance floor over the time that they perform. These is the criteria that make a successful concert.

The design of such a rewarding system would work as a series of snapshots in specific time periods as a photo of the people attending the concert.

These snapshots would be processed with AI Image Segmentation from the SingularityNET marketplace.

AI would count how many people attended the concert and it would redistribute the rewards from the reward pools.

SingularityNET

We would be proud if Museverse would be a spinoff project of SingularityNET. We believe that we could create a new ecosystem for music entertainment and with the integration of SingularityNET, we could create a bridge for metaverse applications.
