Image annotation should be affordable. But in the countries usually doing A.I. research $3/hr is not enough to satisfy a local annotator.
Phone-app that pays the equivalent to $3/hr in AGIX to an image annotator in a country where $3/hr is a decent salary.
This is the total amount allocated to WEB3 - Image annotation phone-app.

The Vision
As the reliance on annotated image sets will grow as the world begins to rely more and more on A.I. and machine learning, there will be missing a link between people that will do annotation work and people that need image annotations.
The project is seeking to build a phone-app that connects A.I. developers that need annotated image sets with an available, global and cheap workforce.
The app will naturally grow with an increasing demand for annotated image sets from the A.I. industry, combined with an increasing amount of people getting familiar and comfortable with Cardano as Cardano expands further into developing nations.
The project will create working opportunities for people worldwide, especially in developing nations where working opportunities are few, insecure and inflexible, and thus it will help raise the standard of living for people worldwide. It is a goal to have thousands of people working fulltime as image annotators in the future.
The app is expected to prove to be an immeasurably valuable tool for A.I. developers and researchers in the future as well as being an excellent real-world use case for AGIX and crypto currencies as a whole.
The App
The project will focus on annotation work that can be done on a smartphone; this ensures annotators can work in otherwise idle situations, for example on the bus.
There will be a big focus on gamification and the capability for the annotator to work in quick bursts of annotation sittings, earning extra in otherwise waisted time.
The app will have a score dynamic that will ensure quality annotations. As a user gets better at annotating and their score increases, the complexity of annotations they can work on can increase, which enables a higher salary.
An A.I. developer can upload an image set and specify which annotations are needed and how much is being payed. The developer will also be able to specify what score a annotator needs to be eligible to annotate their image set.
WEB3
The big innovation in the app will come from the fact that you will not have to identify yourself and the app will only connect annotators to a Cardano wallet address, no signup needed, this cuts out a lot of legacy finance overhang.
This is a capability crypto currencies bring to the table that make them essential to WEB3 and this feature is deceivingly powerful.
The Team
The project is not staffed yet and the search for developers and other specialists needed will start immediately.
The Roadmap
Q1 - Develop the mobile image annotation interface and start testing this on users as soon as possible.
Q2 - Start designing the UX. Implement user dynamics to ensure quality annotations.
Q3 - Design backend architecture and establish dynamics between annotators and image set providers.
Q4 - Beef up the backend to a real server solution, that can scale with increasing traffic.
Q5-Q6 - Implement the blockchain parts. This is the user wallets, the company wallets, relay nodes, the smartcontracts and other functions that are needed.
Q7 - Visual design and Icon branding.
Q8 - Start heavy marketing and beef up security.
Q9 - Launch start 2024 and beef up marketing in developing nations.
Q10 - Onboard 50.000 users and 5000 image set providers.
