We are operating and have already sold fractional ownership in prime properties in Paris worth a few millions USD to several investors. These properties are fully managed by us and we collect the rent on behalf of the platform users. So we are on our way to solve two issues: 1. reduce the entry amount and 2. remove the non-monetary frictions (think day-to-day maintenance, repair and tax)
Next step is to create liquidity and for this we want to build a secondary market. Blockchain technology can help to 1. significantly reduce the costs associated with the operations of such market and 2. facilitate the usage of crypto currencies to invest in real estate. Integration with the Atala Prism solution can help also to streamline the requirement for identity management of our investors.
This is a complex project with multiple components and for a start, we want to focus on tokenizing the fractional ownership in the real estate that we are offering to our platform users.
