Staking for Children

Market: Our Financial Literacy app can be connected to any bank account via Open Banking in Europe. We can extend it beyond Europe. There is no solution out there that teaches financial literacy in the DeFi space. The staking reward is a huge advantage and invites families to again promote to their kids the savings mindset.

Product: Our pocket money solution provides families with 5% rewards on their savings through staking a stable coin. We plan to combine staking and spending by issuing a prepaid wearable payment solution ("Finny Key") that children from 7 years onwards can get to spend their pocket money for smaller things.

Acquisition: We are in discussion with one of the largest toy companies in Europe. Moreover, we aim to get into retail stores for our wearable payment solution. Over and above, we seek for partnerships

Monopoly: By combining gamification with staking, we build the first "Learn to Earn" (a variation of play to earn) tool for families: Families earn by learning - e.g. we can incentivize saving, by teaching their children something about healthy money habits, etc. Society profits, because the next generation will learn to navigate freely in a complex world of digital money.

For Cardano, Financial literacy fits perfectly to the long-term vision of a system that is built for the people. Not only giving them the technology, but also the education for the next generation, of children how grow up with the idea that money is not dependent on a centralized bank but can be organized distributed invested and kept safe decentrally.

We plan to go live in Q3 2022 with such a MVP solution. We need 200'000 USD for building this solution into our Finny Family and Finny Kids App and asking the Cardano Community/Partners for (paid) support in building the staking solution correctly, e.g. with COTI.
