Chinese Discord+Telegram groups

This proposal is for the next 3 months.

Problem

The Cardano Chinese-speaking community needs a more organized Telegram group and a place where people's questions are answered in a more topic-specific manner. 

It is becoming challenging for me to manage all the questions and maintain the Telegram group (nearly 1000 people)

Solution

• Hire a moderator to manage the existing Chinese-speaking Telegram group
• Start and manage a Discord server with several channels to answer topic-specific questions
• Livestream from Discord for 1 hour a week to answer questions related to staking, projects, CNFTs, wallets, and all Cardano-related questions

Goal

• To scale up the Telegram group and to start a Discord server to better serve the growing Chinese community 

Target demographic

• Chinese-speaking people who are in the Chinese Telegram group and want more information. The Telegram group needs more moderator (s). 

Roadmap and Action Plan:

month 1:

• interview candidates for moderator 
• hire the moderator
• educate and onboard  the moderator

month 2:

• monitor the work of the moderator and improve whenever is needed

• gather community's feedback about the moderator's work

• start a Discord channel and introduce it to the community

month 3:

• monitor the work of the moderator and improve whenever is needed
• gather community's feedback about the moderator's work
• start live audio streaming on Discord to answer questions

Skills needed for the moderator

• community moderation
• basic understanding of Cardano
• good knowledge of Telegram and Discord
• on-time reporting of any issues 

Auditability

Performance Metrics/KPI

• number of members in the Telegram group: over 1200
• number of members in the Discord server: over 120
• increased satisfaction level of the Telegram group
• better community atmosphere
• easier access for the members to ask questions live

Transparency

• The number of group members on Telegram can be easily viewed (https://t.me/DayDayAda)  
• The number of members on the Discord server can be easily viewed via shared link (Discord server not created yet, I have no bandwidth for it as of now)
• The number of live FAQs done on the Discord server can be easily tracked and shared

Budget

•  interview candidates for moderator: 7hr*37.5$/hr=$ 262.5
• moderator salary: 1.5hr/day*7days*12weeks*$30hr = $3780
• train and onboard the moderator: 10hr*45$/hr=$450
• monitor the work of the moderator on Telegram and improve where needed: 2hr/week*12weeks*37.5$/hr=$900
• gather community's feedback about the moderator's work on Telegram:1hr/week*12weeks*37.5$/hr=$450
• build a Discord channel and introduce it to the community: 2.5hr*37.5$/hr=$93.75
