Open source scalable OST ecosystem

Problem statement

Small towns all over the world are falling apart, suffering an irreversible fate of economic decay, with very few prospects for turning this around. Most of these towns were once thriving communities - now everything seems broken - especially in 3rd world countries. And yet there is so much potential, lying idle in every small town, that is neglected.

Solution

Our ONE SMALL TOWN plan, detailed in our website https://www.ubuntucontributionism.org/one-small-town, turns small towns into thriving places of abundance and prosperity for all its residents - by identifying all the agricultural and industrial opportunities, combining them with the many incredible people skills, creating a united labour force, and presenting a list of very attractive investment opportunities for conscious investors who want to partner with an entire community. Creating unprecedented long-term secure investments and a beautiful future for all involved.

Goal

The OST team aim to take up the challenge of developing our own dedicated protocol, open source and scalable worldwide, propulsed by Cardano ecosystem. The goal of this proposal is to raise money to launch a successful ICO for One Small Town ecosystem development.

The planned ecosystem so far is composed of the following
One Small Token

One Small Token is a cryptocurrency token with the aim of getting the businesses of our signed towns up and running at full potential.

3 types of persons or institutions are foresee to participates in the purchase of our token :

PATRON : Supporter of the OST plan and accomplishment of Contributionism in the world. Expect nothing back but the satisfaction to be part of the creation of a new world.

INVESTOR : Holder of the OSToken, ideally believe in the OST plan on a conscious level. Will be able to purchase a NFT that represents a share in a business and will earn a dividend while holding it.

TRADER : Volatility players.

Ubuntu Blockchain

We will use the blockchain technology in the most effective way, to streamline all our projects, labour and delivery.

The ''Mite'' will initially be created as a native token on the Cardano blockchain.

Eventually, to be as decentralized and independent as possible, it will migrate to its own blockchain, the Ubuntu blockchain. 

As the Ubuntu blockchain is developed, the ''Mite'' will have more utility value.

 Regenico NFT Marketplace

Investors will be able to purchase NFT with the ''Mite'' through a dedicated marketplace, the Regenico portal, where each collection represents a town and each NFT a share in a business of the said town.

Holding NFT guarantee to the investor to receive dividend from the business benefits.

The marketplace will represent our planet Earth, which rotates to the town/collection, with a zoom to the storefront, with videos and details of the provenance of the art (on the NFT) and the community business the purchase will support.

 OST token wallet

A wallet will be developed to allow investors to stake their ''Mite'' to earn income, but also for townspeople to time bank their 3 hours a week contribution in the form of a Labour of Love token.

Smartcard

Every participant will have a smartcard and be teach how to use it as for all the others dApps of the ecosystem.

Userbase

All One Small Town volunteers will be an user of our ecosystem.

We expect to have about 200,000 members in 12 months and possible 1 million or more in 24 months.

It could be many millions based on the current interest in ONE SMALL TOWN from mayor's and Tribal leaders.

We expect the first USA town to join in the next 3 months which will create a domino effect.

Roadmap and costs for the launch of an ICO

Q1 2022 : Hire team.

- Team manager & content writers : Volunteers (co-authors of this proposal)

- 1 website developer : 3k /month (to be chosen, we have candidates already)

(Estimate at 1 month development)

- 1 expert marketing : 2.5k /month (to be chosen, we have candidates already)

(6 month ICO = 15k)

- 1 community manager : 2k /month (to be chosen, we have candidates already)

(6 month ICO = 12k)

- Marketing budget (Ads & Influencers): 60k

Q1 2022 : Development of the website.

Q2 2022 : Launch ICO organically in our signed towns and contacts.

Q2 2022 : Launch ICO for the world with strategic marketing.

Q4 2022 : End ICO & beginning development of the ecosystem

Q1 2023 : Seamless expansion of Contributionism.
