Why build a builder's hub in India
IT-ITeS Industry in India is well developed and is the topmost off-shoring destination for IT companies across the world, employing close to 5 million professionals. In addition to driving the growth of the digital economy internally India offers cost-effectiveness to global companies.
Plan
- Lay the groundwork for moulding a workforce able to develop on Cardano. Provide guidance to learning about Cardano and learning Haskell and Plutus.
- Raise awareness and promote adoption of Cardano in the Indian subcontinent which has a population of more than 1.5 billion. This will offer significant windfall gains as once the IT sector starts building indigenous solutions on Cardano catering to the needs of the economy, Cardano will be viewed distinctly compared to other blockchain solutions.
- Bring together experts from in the traditional industry into an informal group where they can discover about Web3.0 and what Cardano offers.
- Act as an incubator for innovation.
Deliverables
- Set up social platforms for a community of builders from the engineering domain interested to build on Cardano.
- Connect the builders with Catalyst School as well as veterans from the Cardano community.
- Loxe Inc which has Cardano ambassadors, Plutus and Prism pioneers will coordinate guidance sessions spanning a few weeks.
- Run a hackathon for the builder's hub members to showcase their ideas for solutions using Cardano.
