Cardano Hub Caracas

We propose founding a Cardano Community Hub in Caracas, Venezuela.

Cardano Hub Caracas will host Cardano meetups in Spanish every 2 weeks, including community meetups and educational workshops.  Meetups will be both in person and online. Online meetups will be available to Spanish speakers globally.

We will also local whatsapp and telegram groups for the Caracas community to stay in touch. Whatsapp is very popular in Latin America.

$8000 - Meetup Logistics, Venue costs, food etc.

$10000 - Salary for local event organizers and workshop givers

$10000 - ADA airdrops for the Caracas community

Goals

- Create new Cardano users in Caracas

- Provide a space for Cardano enthusiasts to find each other

- connect Caracas Talent to Cardano Community (especially developer)

- provide quality educational workshops

- Drive adoption of Cardano apps

- provide on the ground fact finding, how is Cardano actually being used?

- Hold 26 successful events in 1 year's time.

What success looks like

0-3 months

- Hold bi-weekly events, growing to 30+ people per event

- Create 15 new Cardano holders per event

3-6 months

- Hold bi-weekly events, growing to 60+ people per event

- Create 30 new Cardano holders per event

6-12 months

- Hold bi-weekly events, growing to 100+ people per event

- Create 50 new Cardano holders per event

- With enough funding, secure a permanent physical location for the hub

We aim to host 26 successful events in 1 year's time. Following that, we may need to raise additional funds.
