The force of creativity, engineering, and social relevant contributions is astonishing. Arguably, the Detroit Metropolitan area can be talked about amongst the top cities in the world according to it's impact on modern life.

Detroit also was the birthplace of the labor movement which brought greater accountability to organizations and their responsibility to their workers.

Although there's a lot to be proud of, the wounds of the past still haunt the great city of Detroit. The race riots of 1967 left an indelible mark on the consciousness of Detroit Metropolitan area. . The shielding off of certain groups from participating in the wealth of the city, corruption and mismanagement from city leaders, the hollowing out of Detroit's manufacturing sector through trade agreements and automation have devastated the once great city.
The spirit of the city is still gradient although the city is still seeking it's long awaited revival. Brilliant minds are still in Detroit. The creatives are there, the engineers are there, the protectors of social solidarity are there as well. At some level Detroit is ground zero for social reconciliation in the US and across the world.
Wada is bringing it's vision of economy, culture, and technology to Detroit, Michigan. As the city continues it's search for identity that truly reflects the brilliance of its people, Wada believes DLT and other emerging technologies can be the connective tissue that helps to resolve old harms while charting a path vision for the future.
Wada is proposing the first diaspora hub in Detroit, Michigan. There's likely know better place to start this journey of reconciliation and reconnection. The hope is that the Detroit Wada hub will interface with the greater Wada network bringing more diverse opportunities for Metro Detroiters while exporting Detroit art, culture, and engineering to the African continent and diaspora.
