A decentralized data marketplace & exchange; using a tokenized access control layer on Cardano to buy/sell the right to data off-chain.

Tilebase is a decentralized marketplace & exchange for data providers to, publish, monetize, and share their data securely on Cardano.

The data itself does not need to be on-chain, just the access control.

Data permissions & licenses are tokenized using backend smart contracts to create a 'Datatoken' (a digital representation of data provenance on-chain), making it easy for businesses/ individuals to publish the ownership of their data, algorithms, or APIs; to be bought and sold in an 'open' and transparent market on the blockchain.

Each dataset has its own corresponding liquidity pool, where the price of the data is ultimately determined by the demand of the market through the buying and selling of the 'Datatoken'.

Our solution is a B2B & B2C marketplace that consists of data providers (individuals/ enterprises) & data consumers (developers/ data engineers) to transact data assets transparently using the blockchain.
