In our world today, music streaming is the highest form of music distribution.

With over 523.9 million subscribers in Q3, 2021, and counting, and over 10 billion dollars in revenue in 2021 alone, the music streaming sector is one of the fastest-growing in the world.

Musicians get only 12% of the $43 billion the Music Industry makes, and it mostly came from touring and shows.

Furthermore, artists have minimal control over how their music is distributed and little visibility into who is streaming it.

There has been relatively little innovation with regards to how musicians monetize. Most artists earn less than they should on existing platforms, others earn nothing at all.

Fans no longer pay to purchase music, and artists need to get massive numbers of streaming hits online to earn any tangible cash. Many music industry promotional practices that were once effective or relevant are no longer effective or relevant.

Audiences are today saturated with a deluge of music and choices, and their attention spans are shorter than ever.

To address these and other issues confronting artists and content creators, we introduce Loozr, a platform that benefits both creators and consumers.

Loozr allows artists to distribute music and get investments directly from fans, labels, and it’s comprised of the following components:

A decentralized and efficient Creator Economy powered by the Loozr platform token $LOOZR to circulate artist tokens. Anyone can earn by investing in an artist's PROFILE or SONG. Artists can also earn on the go as listeners stream their songs. Artists can share their stream earnings with their investors and fans - using the Loozr coin, which is a novel way for musicians to monetize. This also provides fans with a direct connection to the musicians they support, as well as opportunities for infrastructure layers such as management and record labels to collaborate with their core demographics and get closer to the music itself than ever before.

Loozr coin is the native cryptocurrency of the Loozr platform.

Each artist's Profile token, as well as their Song token, represents real-world music and creators. On the blockchain, they can be bought and sold as digital assets, similar to Bitcoin, Ethereum, and other tokens.

Users, fans, and DJs can launch a Playlist token by simply creating a playlist and having people buy tokens. You also earn in real-time when people stream the playlist you created and the songs you recommended. Albums, EPs, and other types of music can be treated in the same way.

It empowers creators, musicians, and communities to independently create their own blockchain-based digital economy and provides an improved information flow and decision-making system that will benefit all parties in the music industry.

The Loozr protocol on the blockchain provides a decentralized storage solution and ledger for audio, metadata sharing, and social media data such as posts, profiles, likes, streams, transactions, followers, and so on. All posts, profiles, and interactions are saved on a public blockchain, making the platform transparent and resistant to censorship.

Loozr allows fans to not only buy/invest in artist $PROFILE token or $SONG, but also have skin in the game. Fans want to get involved in your music to promote it because as your value rises, they make more money every second.

Artists can go even further by allowing fans to pay for event tickets, VIP meetups, shopping, and so on. This adds value to the artist's coin and keeps them relevant.

As a way of giving back to their fans and supporters, artists can share a percentage of their streaming earnings with fans who invested in or purchased their tokens.

Artists can go even further; similar to NFTs, those with an artist's token enjoy benefits such as free tours, VIP hangouts, and free event tickets if you're a token holder. Your token can be used as a form of validation or as a ticket for any show. This increases the artist's coin's value and keeps them relevant. There's a lot that can be done with Loozr.

Using Agile methodology, the entire development and project is open source, which means that every update is public and anyone can followup.
