[IMPACT]
We will organize a virtual hackathon spanning 6 weeks encouraging open-source collaboration of builders across various blockchain ecosystems.
The requisite arrangements are
- Website for registration
- Themes and judges for for hackathon to be selected
- Workshops for orientation
- Guidance on building team activity / time
- Coordination and support during the weeks of the hackathon
This solution promotes:
- Collaboration from builders in other chains
- Increased adoption of Cardano among devs
- Bust the myths about Cardano in a hands on manner
- Ideation and proposals for interoperability
Involves coordination with many teams unlike a usual development project. Insufficient preparation will adversely affect the success.

[AUDITABILITY]
Internally, we will use the Agile methodology to manage and keep track of our progress on this project’s development.
Externally, for audit purposes, we will track the progress according to the delivery of the milestones presented in the roadmap included in the feasibility section of this proposal. This progress report will be done through the monthly meetings with the challenge team and coordinator meetings with the IOG team.
This project will be a success if:
- It results in collaboration between builders in other blockchain and Cardano
- There are proposals from collaborating teams in future Catalyst rounds
- If the number of cross chain proposals increase
KPIs are:
- Number of teams blockchains represented in the hackathon
- Number of teams participating
