Most Africans are unaware of Cardano and its opportunities as a world-changing technology.
Projecting Cardano Blockchain Tech. & its opportunities via Billboard advertisements & video animations on various social media platforms.
This is the total amount allocated to Flood Africa with Cardano.
This project is scheduled to be implemented across Africa. However since we are located in Ghana, we are proposing to launch a pilot section in Accra, Ghana. Research shows that infographics are an easy and efficient mechanism for learning sophisticated concepts. Hence, our solution to this problem is going to rely on 100% infographics. ie. still images and video animations.
We propose to mount 5 billboards by the end of 3 months of post funding. And simultaneously, we will be building animations to educate our target audience on Cardano blockchain and its opportunities. These animations will be posted on our YouTube channel (linked through QR code on our billboard).
The impact of the billboard advertisement may not be directly seen as compared to the YouTube animations. However it exposes our content to a much wider audience, and we have found that advertisements on billboards add significant credibility and visibility to local businesses.
This proposal is a clear definition of how to seed and grow Cardano in Africa.
We have articulated exactly how we are going to make use of the infographics mode of learning to drive Cardano adoption in Africa in our proposed solution and this puts our proposal in good alignment with this challenge setting.
Though the proposals relies on using digital platform like YouTube, we also acknowledge that due to poor internet connectivity in certain part of Ghana, billboard can best serve the need of scaling up awareness. The use of billboards would help bring catalyst opportunities to individuals with low internet connectivity and even those whose internet interactions would not normally expose them to blockchain activities.
Possibilities of the local government going against the project with the aim that blockchain technology is not a legal ledger or asset.
Therefore, we will educate the authorities about Cardano blockchain technology and it's impacts. Wada is also working with partners such as Global Policy House to specifically target our education and sensitization efforts to address policy change and to onboard governments.
