If teachers were trained to focus on teaching Mathematics computationally we would increase the number much needed functional programmers
Start by training 100 Math teachers interested in programming to pass this skill on to their learners and peers to increase coder capacity
This is the total amount allocated to Train 100 Math Teachers in Africa.
Overall Objective: Train 100 Mathematics teachers to teach functional programming for the Cardano blockchain in 4 Months
KPIs
The risk with training teachers is being able to catch them as they may only be available during holidays and can be very busy and preoccupied during the school team. We may need to incentivize them to attend through some kind of learn and earn program
May 2022 :Design a course online course that supports Mathematics teachers in Eastern Africa to teach functional programming to the children they teach include teaching methods for ease of learning and Learner motivation
May 2022 :Select 100 Mathematics Teachers to be trained from data bases and requests from Country Teachers Services Commissions
May 2022 :Invite teachers to the 3 month course in
June 2022: Enroll teachers to the course and also the community
June -July :2022 Train Teachers over a period of 3 months at
Aug- Sept 2022 :Teachers establish Cardano clubs where coding using Haskell is taught and practiced
Sept 2022 ;Document Success of the project and preset the teachers
