Cardano Atlas Project

[IMPACT]

Several pages have cardano projects information i.e.: cardanocube.io, however, no news/ events were updated on that project (ie: ISPO, Public sale…)

Projects in the Cardano ecosystem often have difficulty promoting and announcing their events to the public. They often hire a 3rd party or announce to their own community and as a result, most people have to actively search and gather information from disjointed sources.

We will create a platform that updates the project information and its latest news using the fiscal year calendar or cardano epoch calendar to help users easily find or filter the particular information about the projects ie: they may search all projects that are doing ISPO on a particular days (now, historical, future…); the platform also have the portal for users to config/subscribe to receive the particular on-chain/off-chain information via Telegram and Discord bot: ISPO date, on-chain ISPO saturation, on-chain wallet balances/transaction update, public sale date, TGE, personnel links between projects, profile links of project personnel, basic mandatory criteria before publishing the project on the website….

Our Platform information feed mechanism are as follows:

Out-off chain information:

1. Manual input: in the early stage of the platform, the information will be updated manually via two sources:
2. Our project team/ collaborator will search information: project information, project news and update on the web.
3. We will work with cardano projects to ask them to actively post the information into our website via project portal.
4. Auto crawl: we will develop a solution to crawl information from various channels (project website, reddit, twitter…) using api, webhook.

On-chain information:

Auto extract on-chain particular data (transaction, balances, status…)

All the information will be updated via a portal and go through an audit process to ensure that information is valid.

Our website will support multi-languages (for this proposal, least 2 languages other than English will be implemented), including:

• Detecting User's preferred language, and presenting content in that language if available.
• Allow users to toggle between available languages.

The technical and relational framework built in this phase will allow us to continue to translate content written in English. Language tags, Search Engine Optimization, and grass-roots marketing efforts will be leveraged to spread accessible Cardano resources to new audiences.

This proposal aim to helps current Cardano users, new users as well as cardano project team have a one stop place to update and find cardano's projects information and news which is demanding now when Cardano's ecosystem is growing rocketly but do not currently fit into other challenges.

For on-chain data feed: API may not stable or overloaded during the peak period (ie: > 300,000 request per day) 

ADA market price fluctuations cause a shortage of funds 

• Solution:

Use a third party back-up API.

For this back-up API we will need an additional fund: 64$ per month * 6 months (https://blockfrost.io/)

To prevent ADA price fluctuation, we will add an additional fund of 10% on top of the current budget.

Implementation of this proposal will be on the MVP version of Cardano Atlas that will be launched later at the end of this year.

Details Roadmap:

• To create the Cardano Atlas platform, the timeline is expected as follow:

2 weeks from funded date:

• Design demand form and analyze needs to build ux, ui, 

8-12 weeks from funded date:

• Designing and creating a special website/landing page for this project
• Developing telegram/ Discord Bot - 8 - 12 weeks from funded date

15 weeks from funded date:

• Implementing UX/UI adjustments 

17 - 25 weeks from funded date:

• Implementing Product front end and back-end structure date
• Maintenance, analysis, error checking throughout the project (on-going)

• To cooperate with the Cardano projects to ask them to update their project news/ updated information. (on-going starting from 15 weeks from funded)

• To run marketing campaigns to cardano communities to acquire users. (on-going starting from 8 weeks from funded)

Our curent experiences for these activities:

We have experience on these activities on the pro-bono basis for a small telegram group of the Vietnamese Cardano Community: 

• Telegram bot status update (input/output/balance) (@biendongtaikhoan_bot); 
• Telegram channel to update the latest information about Cardano’s projects (https://t.me/duantrencardano); 
• We, as Genius Yield Ambassadors for Vietnamese market, also develop a telegram bot to announce Genius Yield ISPO pool saturation status for Vietnamese Genius Yield Telegram Group (https://t.me/GeniusYieldVietnam) and then are using by Genius Yield Telegram Official Group (https://t.me/geniusyield_official) and in progress to use by Genius Yield Telegram Group in other countries.

Progress will be measured by how many users use Cardano Atlas platform to search information and how many projects were listed on the website.

KPI for the first year after the launch will include: 

• 10,000 registered users who use the website to subscribe to telegram/ discord bot.
• Website traffic reach: 5.000 view/ month
• 100 cardano projects information listed in a structured and interactive way with their up-to-date significant news & information.

Success of this project will be that our Cardano Atlas platform will become the most favorite tool for searching/ updating information about the Cardano ecosystem with at least 5 different countries' local languages.
