There are few open-source d-edTech Platforms in Spanish in place to make education accessible on how to build projects on Cardano in LatAm.
Our vision is to create code for a d-edTech Platform in Spanish that will be open-source, and available for others to develop in LatAm
This is the total amount allocated to Open Source d-edTech For LatAm.
We have partnered with Techademia to achieve the goal of creating code for the d-edTech Platform in Spanish that will provide a “learn to earn" model. The code for this d-edTeach platform will be open source for the students of the platform and Cardano community to develop and improve. While at the same time offering educational resources to build brand new projects on Cardano. We will provide education for development in the Cardano & Catalyst ecosystem and Incentive systems for learning and development. All these resources will be in Spanish as we are trying to target students and developers in South America.
Our project will increase the number of contributors/developers in the community and thereafter increase the quantity and the quality of Cardano Open Source projects.
Our main concern is with scaling. The cost of paying students to learn will increase as more students partake in learning. We hope to sustain the project by getting support from educational institutions/investors/the Cardano community/local governments.
Short-Mid Term (1-3 Months)
Content Development begins. Open-source code available for people to contribute
Mid Term (3-12 Months)
Deploy the beta for the platform and begin to onboard interested/aspiring developers.
Long Term (12 months-36 months) Success
Success will be achieved if we generate between 50,000 enrollments in the first 3 years of operation. With at least 10% of these enrollments acquiring jobs.
Operational Costs (Hardware/Software infrastructure): $4,000
Creation of educational content(translation/software engineering/editing) : $6,000
instructor staff: $8,000
Incentives for Adoption (Learn to Earn, Wifi Access, Computer Access): $12,000
Budget Requested: $30,000

Techademia team members (Ayllu)
Numbers of students enrolled in class
Number of student turned into developers and hired
Number of Universities onboarded
Report an increase in the issuance of token rewards to students who complete a course (Correlated to Completion Rates)
Platform can be self sustainable
Recruit at least two academic advisors from different countries in LatAm
Recruit at least two members of local government officials
Amount of contribution to open-source code
Number of lines of code
Success for our project is an increase in the number of students who understand blockchain and implement contribute back to the d-edTech platform code or even develop new creative ideas with their knowledge. Another metric of success will be if the platform has become sustainable through its incentivization method
This will be a continuation and expansion of a course already in development funded in F5 and F7 by DeFi Discussions LLC and Techademia. We are developing a partnership
