Projects developed in French-speaking African countries lack information on blockchain technology in general.
Organize weekly live code meetups on Blockchain technology to expand the French community in order to broaden our knowledge on the subject.
This is the total amount allocated to CARDANO FRENCH COMMUNITY IN DRC.
We propose the creation of a cardano community in the DRC to learn more about the Blockchain, to expand our knowledge, to be able to contribute to the development of applications based on smart contracts.
We plan to reach more than 300 French-speaking developers across Africa by December 2022.
This will allow projects and developers in Africa not to be isolated, but to belong to a growing network. The weekly meetups will serve as a networking opportunity for developers to come together to work on blockchain projects. They will continue indefinitely and will be hosted as regularly as the process allows.
Creating a cardano French community is creating an environment encouraging African developers to massively adopt blockchain technology.
Africa is evolving more and more in technology, and several blockchains are already expanding their community in Africa. Nevertheless, very few are those who make resources available in French, which automatically excludes the Francophone community.
By creating a French-speaking community of cardano to share knowledge in French and thus create resources available on YouTube, it is contributing to extending the Blockchain cardano in Africa starting with the Democratic Republic of Congo.
For the organization of our online meetups, we will invite experienced developers who have advanced knowledge in Blockchain to share their knowledge in designing applications on smart contracts for example and we also have developers who are bilingual and who are able to learn courses in English and share them in French in the community. Each session will be recorded and saved on our YouTube channel to have resources available in French.
We will communicate our project through our various social networks so that any developer located anywhere in a French-speaking country in Africa can participate for free.
We also have a community with a telegram channel which already includes over 130 developers (https://t.me/uptodatedevelopers).
The risk is to be able to easily involve Congolese and African developers in online sessions because of the poor quality of the internet connection.
To overcome this, we have planned to record each session and put the video on our YouTube channel to allow those who missed the session to be able to download the content and follow it even offline.
There is also the problem of reaching a large number of participants, so we will share invitations to participate in our sessions on all our social networks to make sure we reach as many people as possible.
With 5 developers we will first reconstitute English lessons in French in pdf, PowerPoint.
Make a non-stop calendar of 4 months including 16 Saturdays for the live code so after each session we will make space available on our site to place the file of the courses also upload the course in video in our YouTube channel.
We will start from Introduction to Blockchain till UTXO Transactions and Account Model
· June 2022: Introduction to Cardano, the Blockchain, and smart contracts.
· July 2022: Beginning of Blockchain programming.
· August 2022: Blockchain programming (smart contract).
· September 2022: Use-Cases of Blockchain.
· Step 1: We will need $3000
§ Creation of content in French
§ Creation of a small promotional video for the call for participation
· Step 2: Here we will need $6000
§ Bidget for 16 training Saturdays
§ Pay the person who will start editing videos after the session
§ Payment of trainers
Uptodate Developers is a startup working in the promotion of new information and communication technologies under two aspects: By designing adapted solutions that contribute to the resolution of social problems and by promoting technology to young people. We train developers to understand customers problems, so that our team can suggest IT Software as part of the solution to the problems. We have two type of developers : Permanent and Freelances. When a project need skills that our permanent developers have, we hire freelances.

Yes, because this project has many steps as a pupeline.
To know how we can follow the work, we will first have videos which should normally be available in our youtube channel (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCTMujKbKTF2zHaBBS0ooDKQ) not only that we also have a space on our website which can make the archives available in text formathttps://uptodatedevelopers.com/our-trainings (https://uptodatedevelopers.com/our-trainings), these two means can already allow you to follow the progress of learning.
The main success of this project results from the fact that the Congolese developers of the DRC who will participate in these weekly meetups, will be able to contribute to the integration of cardano blockchain in an application.
Reach senior and junior African developers from French-speaking countries who are interested in Blockchain technology.
Invite them to participate in live code sessions with Blockchain experts and help them in the process of designing or integrating Blockchain into their IT projects.
This is the continuation of previously funded project
Startup working in the development of Web, Mobile, and Desktop applications; with more than 18 developers, with a community of more than 100 developers (telegram channel).
