There is currently no intelligent, open-source Cardano-native accounting/auditing system.
CERP for Catalyst will be an intelligent open-source Cardano-native accounting/auditing system consisting of a GL, COTI Pay integration, funds/revenue receipts modules, and financial + audit reports.
This is the total amount allocated to Cardano ERP for Catalyst.
Cardano ERP for Catalyst will be an open-source Cardano-native accounting/auditing system. A native Cardano system will allow for easy and transparent integrated auditing, tracking, and reporting of funded projects. The project stakeholders will be the Catalyst Fund audit committee, Cardano Community, and Catalyst Fund recipients.
We will scope the unique needs of stakeholders, then architect and deliver an MVP which meets scoped needs.
The core modules are expected to include:
As a result of this work, we expect to provide a Cardano-native system that meets the requirements of the intended stakeholders.
Cardano ERP for Catalyst will provide the accounting and auditing system framework for funded projects. This will in turn promote adoption and improve product ownership. It will address the need to get accountants and lawyers into the Cardano & Catalyst Ecosystem and provide direct access to solutions which provide financial and legal services as well as support and guidance to emerging projects in the Catalyst Ecosystem.
Cardano ERP for Catalyst will be infinitely scalable and able to be used anywhere in the world.
The main risk which could prevent delivering the project successfully would be a shortage of funding to complete the project. We anticipate an MVP can be delivered for ~2,000 hrs of effort. However, we cannot predict all requirements to be requested by all stakeholders in a final product. To mitigate this risk, the proposal is for delivery of an MVP, not a final product. We will submit additional proposals for any additional effort required for a final product.
We have a core Cardano ERP team of experienced ERP consultants and developers who will:
We have related proposals pending for CF9. All proposals compliment each other and can be worked on sequentially or concurrently by the same team, if all pending proposals are funded.
We anticipate the following budget, subject to stakeholder requirements feedback:
Total project effort: 2,000 hrs
Estimated average labor rate: $50/hr
Total Budget: 2,000 hrs x $50/hr = $100,000

If funded, we may return to Project Catalyst in later rounds for further funding because this project seeks to provide an ongoing service to Project Catalyst and funded recipients.
We will measure success by the scoped modules we successfully deliver. We anticipate the following functionality:
Note: Final scope is stakeholder dependent.
Cardano ERP for Catalyst will exist as an MVP (this proposal) of the scoped modules and be used by the Cardano Community, Catalyst Fund recipients, and Catalyst Fund audit committee (finished product).
Success will be considered to be delivery of an MVP having the following functionality:
Note: Final scope is stakeholder dependent.
This is an entirely new project in Catalyst. Our previous attempt to obtain funding during CF8 was not successful.
We have other CF9 proposals pending, in accordance with feedback received from vCAs during CF8.
